Can someone explain why this was forked to begin with? Was it just to remove the 20%. Looks like it has slightly higher supply.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

no founders tax and no slow start which ZEC had In short, while having all advantages of Zcash, Zclassic remains true to the spirit of what a cryptocurrency should be.

This is the pirate coin lol It may even overcome the original coin, who knows? Network effects are the only thing that matters. I think there's gonna be a small dump now, i'm gonna wait so i can buy more The small "dump" did happen today, 3 days after your post! Rocketed at 14E-4 BTC, almost double of where it was on 28 Feb. Time to buy some more now!

Was there any evidence the "secret key" was destroyed as it was with the original ZCash? Or do we have to fear that new coins will just appear out of nowhere?

It is not that they appear just out of nowhere? Crypto coins are open-source, like ZCash. Thankfully, that's how ZClassic emerged right after ZCash code was released.

Cool story, but doesn't answer my question, at all. Get informed about zk-SNARKs and how ZCash was created. Anyone that can answer my question? Also Is there any chance for an Android wallet and a working windows wallet anytime soon?

Colleagues, I observe the mining of this coin 3 days. I am concerned a very strange phenomenon. The miner with the address t1actVSAhVnM2ididm5d3fPwDTZBAey3bbw periodically finds in a row a large number of blocks in a short time. This happens about once every 1.5 hours. Here is a screenshot of the Block explorer where the miner found 11 blocks in a row in 2 minutes. How is this possible? http://cs1.imwox.com/o/4e/dd/4edd5677e5cd6bd28b12373f1a14a3f0.jpg
