any good board for quad sli ? (my next miner won't be only a miner  Grin might be a bit overkill in view of the shitty screens I have)

Get an x79-ud3 like mine...cheap and has 4 16x slots.
I7 3820 is a great and cheap cpu as well.
may-be not quad: http://www.guru3d.com/news_story/geforce_gtx_880_es_to_get_8_gb_memory.html
(780$ per card ouch... jpc will have to do very well for that...  Undecided ... and it is even not supposed to be the nvidia flagship, lets face it amd is far from being dead...)

Hi Experts,

I have cudaminer installed on my system. I was wondering if there is a switch that can be used in the configuration file to speed up my hashrate (Dismal 4.2 K/hs on a GT 210 card.). If there are any switches that i could use to speed up the hash rate, it would be much appreciated if you could post them as a reply to my post.

For your information this is the string i use currently: cudaminer.exe -C 1 -H 1 -i 0 -o stratum+tcp://multi.ghash.io:3333 -O zzzzzzz.zzzzz:x

Thanks and have a great day!

assuming you are running on scrypt   try "-l " that should trigger the autotune but frankly your card is from the neolithic...

Lol! Cheesy i suppose so, i somehow have an aversion to ATI (goes back a long way from my tech support days, frequent failures!) and Nvidia ain't up to scratch when it comes to mining (at least that's what i think!). Any good Nvidia cards that i could buy which may jack up my hash rate to something respectable? My Mobo supports PCI-E 3.0. Smiley

Thanks

Thanks to C&C, Nvidia now about rules X11 and related coins. As for the cards, 750ti's are popular, might want to try those. Or 780(ti)'s.

2 750ti's beat 780's performance and price wise, so if you can fit 2 cards in, go for them

Thanks Buddy, for X11 i think we use SGMiner? I was unable to configure SGminer with my pool - Xhash.net to mine DRK coin. Think i should ask about this one on the appropriate forum. BTW if you can PM the settings for using SGminer (if you have them), i would be obliged.

For X11 on nvidia cards you have to use ccminer. Which this thread is about.

That's a chinese price...can't translate that 1:1.
The 780 sold for that at launch in China too...it'll cost less than 600, or maybe 650usd when it's out. Relax.

I use a GT520
but did not get the maximum performance,

the words "GT520" and "performance" are on two opposite sides of the dictionary Wink

This thing is an integrated graphics chipset with shared memory between CPU and GPU.
EDIT: actuall I was wrong. It is a discrete card, but a low end part.

Thanks bud, my bad! Sadly, CCminer does not support compute 1.2 which is what i have on my G210. Think i will have to try CPU mining instead! Sad

Price crashed, but still too high of a hashrate Wink
Anyways, minep.it has issues displaying the correct net hashrate. It's around 60GH/s Wink But for the rest, I'm still loving minep.it Smiley Nice UI and a great community Wink
