I've retired from mining for the time being.

Maybe one of the other ccMiner contributors and forkers may have something cool in the pipeline.

I think a lot of us have retired for now, my cards are all on eBay, im more interested to see what your xeon phi project is, any ideas yet?

how about running 57 parallel torrent clients for downloading furry porn. hmm...

or how about doing raytracing/pathtracing? maybe Mandelbulbs and other 3D fractals.

Actually I have no idea what to do with it right now. The original idea was to mine Boolberry, while the scratchpad still fit into the card's distributed 28MB L2 cache. But Intel shipped almost 2 months too late, so the BBR scratchpad is almost at that size now and any advantage this card has won't last very long.

You could point your rigs at http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ and help Berkley search for ET. Maybe talk them into having their own coin SETIcoin and help them find ET while mining. Each miner gives a small % of processing power to their search.

Is there a newer version than 3.0.1? I can't find that option in mine Tongue We are talking about afterburner, rite?

Hey dude, ccminer is fairly basic on the data, is there something similar to sgminer for nvidia?

no, I don't think there is anything like that (I mean for OC etc...)

Regarding msi afterburner, it is the version 4.0.0 beta 9

I think unfortunately I'm going to start listing some of my GPU's today as well. Sucks how the profitability dropped so quickly with GPU mining. Sad

All of my GPUs are MSI, and I got the prompt for the 4.0.1 beta this morning, but I chose to not download it yet.  Rather wait for a full release.

On the topic of CCminer, since it looks like most of you have stopped working on development, who is working on nvMiner?  I see a recent release on that fork, but the source has yet to be posted to GitHub (for any version of it).

lol, you don't post anything for 3 day, then you have stopped...  Grin (I am not sure in which world you are leaving where there is update every 2 days...), it would be a coin, it would be declared dead already

I'm running nvMiner and I don't see any difference to ccminer.

Where's my temps, clock speeds, fan speeds etc?  Am I loading AfterBurner to keep an eye on these things?

there is no difference between nvminer and ccminer as it uses mostly the same code (actually there is for whirlcoin, if I remember where it is a little faster)

Haha OK, Aizen said to me "If you want fancy shit run nvMiner" when I got Nvidia Mining 101 introduction course  Cheesy

So how do I keep an eye on all the things I'm used to with sgminer?  Or do I have to dump windows for something like PiMP to get the same level of stats?

There hasn't been a new version of ccMiner since v1.2 + Cryptonight mod, whereas a new version of nvMiner was just posted a few days ago.  That, plus what you were saying just earlier today about most of you guys retiring from mining is why I said it looked like most of you had stopped development on ccMiner, and why I asked who was working on nvMiner.

Also from reading the development/patch notes, nvMiner includes a few more algorithms than ccMiner, including X15.  X15 is why I use nvMiner, since I often use an auto-algo switcher for mining on NiceHash.
