so what drivers were you using before?

335 something i think. they have released 2 since that one.
i don't use teamviewer or any sort of remote desktop to remove that issue

usually it is the overclocking (with the new drivers, you can get +1000MHz... so I imagine that what may look stable for a short period of time might not be really stable on the long term)

I am mining jackpot for weaks without ANY problem caused by the miner  or the algo, so look for trouble in yourself, not the miner.

Yeah, me too, the miner seems very stable

Same thing here. Jackpot have been working 24/7 for the last month without any problem with some OC (Core+180Mhz,RAM+400Mhz)

I didnt update to the last drivers.

Golden rule , if something is working , do not touch it. Grin . I tried the new drivers on my single ti750 machine and it is working ok for now , but as i see no improvement , then i didnot updated the drivers of my minnig machine.

But because i game aswell i am willing to deal with the drop out of 1 card every other day and keep the higher game performance

I mined X11 and the same card dropped out after 3 hours, so it's not specific to the algo.

I've excluded the card that keeps dropping out by using the d flag, and am running only 4. We'll see how that goes.

teamviewer causes the problem don`t use it all the time just have a look at the machine and close it , or use remote administrator.

i'm using remote desktop control, but i can't run miners with it, and i can't shutdown the rig if i want to, maybe i need more privileges

there are new drivers apparently 337.91

I use teamviewer, and I just use it to peek in and check things from time to time... don't leave it running. I have occasional crashes/freeze up of the entire rig when I log out of teamviewer, so something isn't playing nice.

I also use Chrome Remote Desktop to control, which seems to work nicely as well.

VNC is probably the best remote program to use.

I picked up a Belkin WeMo remote plug controller at Home Depot and use that to hard reboot the rig from my phone when it won't respond to pings. Best solution for $40 I have found to keep the rig up as much as possible.

I haven't messed with driver updates in a while, and everything seems to be still smooth with 335.23 on 6x 750ti

Regarding remote access it would be easier if the miner was running linux
(is there anything like ssh to open a console on windows ? )

In teamviewer make sure you are running latest version 9.0.28223

Click Extras->Options
On new dialog box click Advanced on left and the Show advanced button if needed
Scroll down to Advanced network options
There is an option "Install monitor driver"  (can just as easily be uninstalled).

Try installing it and see if that helps.  Also check hash rates to make sure they don't get affected.

I've got Teamviewer on close to 10 machines I'm mining with running Win7 to Server 2012 R2 and have no problems with it at all.

I did have two machines a while back that would reboot on their own.  Turned out I was pushing them to hard with OC.  They were not running hot but once I ran them back closer to default OC settings I was fine.

IMHO most problems of this nature are GPU issues.  Not all cards are created equal and may need to get slowed down a bit.

You might be the man to ask this.

I have it running on all 4 of my rigs and I have one slight issue trying to figure out.

When sitting at my main computer I have the other 3 open so I can always see them. But they "time out" and I have to go back in and open them back up. Do you know of a setting in TeamVeiwer to prevent the "time out". I can't find it or even google the right thing to look for.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

And you seem like the person to ask this to:

Why are so many people accessing their rigs through Teamviewer or any other remote desktop software? People have their rigs somewhere else besides their own place?

Me, actually I will be.

The father in law is willing to let me set up rigs and a few future asics at his place to help with electricity.

So I need to be able to control everything from my phone while at work or wherever I am at.

It is such an easy thing to create bats and drop the on a machine miles away and switch whenever I want to do something different.

If you have something better that will work and I can remote control from my phone or tablet I am willing to try it. Oh and as easy as TeamVeiwer.

EDIT: I beleive I have my problem figured out with the "time out" issue.

It's close to 1 month since the last ccminer version. Are there any other developer working on ccminer ? Any ETA for new version ?

This was the last piece of news mention about ccminer new version couple of weeks ago.

how good are 750ti on x13? like marucoin and boostcoin?

not available yet. It's the last AMD refuge Wink

BTW we just optimized some extra 5-10% out of X11 and Jackpot by doing coalesced memory accesses
for exchanging data between various hash functions. This will be made public soon'ish.

I don't mind getting paid ccminer version if it speed up development. Maybe something like ccminer gold version (close source) where we will get latest version and the open source version will be 1 or 2 version behind ccminer gold.

In that advanced tab section at towards the bottom there is a box under More that says "Disable TeamViewer shutdown". I checked it and will see how it goes.

Why are so many people accessing their rigs through Teamviewer or any other remote desktop software? People have their rigs somewhere else besides their own place?

I like it because I can use it from my cell phone, table or computer.
I personally have 3 computers in a server room, 3 next to my work desk, laptop on desk, 3 next to desk, 3 in basement doing mining. Plus my kids computers, x-wife, dad's computer and tablet and a couple of friends who need help from time to time.  Teamview makes it extremely easy to remotely access these other computers.

I also use it to access a few machines in AWS as well as several severs which are co-located. (so I can use cell phone and not have to VPN in).

I mainly use Teamviewer for mining machines or one I need to access from cell phone.

I also use the free Remote Desktop Connection Manager (google it) for setting up RDP sessions to another 75 or so machines I use.  55 of these machines all run on a windows Server 2012 R2 in Hyper-V and serve specific functions.  These are business computers.

RDP causes problems for miners so VNC or Tearmviewer is a much better option for them.

In a nut shell I try and use the best tool for the job at hand.  I also use putty (SSH) to access a couple of Linux machines too. Smiley
