EWBF's miner has practically never allowed multiple instances to run on a PC, whether on Linux or Windows OS.

This is because, there are substantial differences between the two.

The Nicehash miner has always allowed more than one instance to be run.

Therefore, there is nothing to complain about, unless you think both are identical.

i can run 2+ instances of this miner without problems, what you are talking about exactly?

I presume he was speaking about threads, because like you i can run multiples instance (several bat files for selected gfx cards) no problems Smiley
Mine crashed too even without oc.
So I will go back to ver 08 waiting for ver 09.x.
Or... start an instance of EWBF and Nicehash side by side. That way they share the rig 50/50 and if one crashes the other picks up the slack.
You get paid in BTC but at least you do not waste any sols if it happens while you are away.

About "viruses" many mining software detected as a malicious software because they used by botnets. My miner absolutely clean, and you can check it: first, miner not listening ports on your machine and cannot receive incoming connection, and second miner create and maintain two connection one for your pool second for devfee pool. you can check it with standard network tools on your system.

Hello
I am trying to use version 009b on linux, but i cannot get the program to output anything to the screen or syslog.

I know it's mining because of the GPU usage (95% load) and the cpu usage that is killing 1 thread of my CPU. but it outputs NOTHING to the syslog or the screen.

is there any way to force the program to output something to the screen so i know what it is doing? how much is hashing?

I have it now in a test rig with ONE GTX 1070 G1 Gaming , standard settings.

I can see at the pool that it is hasing at 300 Sols, isn't that low for this kind of card?

I am using a customized version of lubuntu 14.04 with cuda 8, Driver 367.44.
thanks
indkt.

It's closer to 500 with a +500 memory oc, and some on the core.

AS far as I can tell you are required to update or reinstall drivers if error 4 is displayed.
