Is there any info for further optimizations on the miner ?

Look for dstm's miner for active development and optimizations on zcash mining. EWBF is done.

Hello all,
Specs
5*GTX 1060 6GB GPU
RM 1000x PSU
G4400 CPU
120 GB SSD
Virtual memory set to 30 GB(6*5)
ASRock H110 probtc+ MB
Transcend DDR4 RAM
Windows 10 Pro(Activated 64 bit)
all 5 gpus are recognised
My problem:
either the whole rig freezes(decided due to temp and increased fan speed) or i get a 0 sol hashrate.
please help me...
this is my first rig...
thank you Smiley

Have you tried to limit the power ? More power = more temperature = more trouble.
Tried doing this but no luck... Sad

Why do you think rent is done? Does dstm result to significantly higher sol/s?

I am sorry but I don't understand by what you mean by AB settings. Can you explain please?
If you mean the settings for the miner it is as follows

miner.exe --server zec.suprnova.cc --user alphamike_1612.1 --pass x --port 2142  --intensity 32
At this setting the rig doesn't freeze but 0 sol hashrate
At intensity 64 rig freezes...
Tried setting different solve modes but same result...

dstm's miner handles GPU jobs individually and that opens room for more stability and optimization. Not to mention many things he's implementing that EWBF doesn't have.

Power 139 W

You've got 1070 model(s) that have a design TDP of 180 watts than not the NVidia default of 151.

That's WHY I keep harping on the "TDP % setting is USELESS unless you specify the CARD as well" statement.

YOUR 80% is more like 92% for something like the EVGA SC "Black" or Zotac "Mini" or MSI "Aero ITX" or Gigabyte "ITX" 1070 models (among many others).

Sorry, but I think you have replied to the wrong person.  I have no idea what TDP is yet.  And can anyone post a link how to send money out of the zcash4Win? address??
Thanks!!

AB stands for MSI AfterBurner -- used to set power/temp limits, core/memory clocks , and a custom fan profile for your cards. At any rate, try removing the intensity setting so the miner uses default values. I'm mining ZEC using P106's (similar to 1060's) and have no problem with them.

that's good and all, but i've just found that as of now there's only the  linux version. will wait for the windows version. Smiley

It is only for linux. This is a flaw. Otherwise dstm has 2% fee. EWBF has an optional fee.

Too much overclock. Try to lower core or mem clock.

Hello, I encountered a problem and I hope someone can help me.

I setup the latest version and it's running fine, but the miner did not "select" my 7th GPU for mining, it only uses 6 instead of 7.
Claymore for Ethereum recognizes 7 cards and mines with 7 cards, Afterburner also recognizes 7 cards.
Do I have to change some of my settings to be able to use my 7th GPU?

If using bat file, add "--pec" to the bat file without the "".

Example: miner.exe --server zec-eu1.nanopool.org --user YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.YOUR_WORKER_NAME/YOUR_EMAIL --pass z --port 6666 --pec

If using config file, add line "pec 1" to the config file without the "".

Good luck!

Nothing happens in the miner interface when I push a button on my keyboard.
