hey, guys.

Can you help me to solve problem?
"solver benchmark error work with default"
3 of 7 cards show that error; 6 of them 1080 Palit, 1 MSI 1060

I tried --solver 0, it helped for ~1 day, after - it does not work.
Every time when I start miner, computer goes to reboot.

Swap is 16GB, MSI AB turned off (before it worked correctly 6 months). EWBW 0.3.4b

Any idea on that problem?

Could be a power problem...  I had something like that happen when I added a new card. All but one card crashed.  I just used and old 500w power supply to run that card that I added and problem is solved.. Hope this helps...  Smiley

Seems, that it is working! Thank you so much!

I decreased power in AB to 50% and it is working.
I am on remote access on that PC, asked to check power supply's.

Glad I could help.... May want to use an old Power supply to power one or two cards so you can run full bore...lol  Take care.... Smiley

Many legitimate well-known mining programs get FALSE reports of virus from some sources.

"Heuristic" virus checkers IMO are not well thought out or implamented, they FALSE report way too often for the very RARE cases they might ever actually catch.
The old tail about "crying wolf" too often comes immediately to mind....

why use this miner anyways, its officially the slowest for cuda and equihash. dtsm's cuda miner and Bfast's cuda miner are faster. not to mention ewbf has bailed months ago

hey there guys

Im having a problem today: when I open suprnova.bat to start mining, I am getting this error message a few seconds after I open the mining file: ERROR: Stratum authorization timeout. And then the cmd window closes instantly.
The funny thing is that I was mining without any problem yesterday, and I didnt change anything since. The configuration are all the same when it used to work fine, I have no idea what could be causing this

my suprnova.bat file looks like this:

miner --server zec-us.suprnova.cc --user mysuprnovaacc.mysuprnovaworker --pass myworkerpassword --port 2142 --log 1

Am I doing something wrong?

In my testing of dstm, it is either the same speed or so little faster vs EBWF as to make it LESS effective given the FIXED 2% fee (ebwf can have the fee modified to suit).
I also strongly dislike the interface on dstm, way too much "busy worthless garbage" on it, but if it was enough faster to matter I'd tolerate it - I'm not REAL fond of the ewbf interface either.

BFast doesn't exist for LINUX.

I haven't heard of Bfast cuda miner. Perhaps CryptoWatcher420 meant Bminer: a fast Equihash miner for CUDA GPUs which does have a Linux release and also has a fixed 2% dev fee. Personally bminer hasn't worked for me, a lot of rejected shares, so i'm sticking with dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.5.7 (Linux / Windows)

ive never had to much issue with it, but it only updates critical things to the os, no drivers or anything like that. all my rigs do it

Is anyone using anything other than zcash4win?  I heard its not a great idea to keep coins on a site, so I'm using this.
Never tried zcash4win but there is also Exodus wallet or JAXX wallet that you can mine to. Personnally I use a hardware wallet: Trezor. Ledger
nano S is also a good hardware wallet.

Don't forget Eleos and Swing too.

I've also heard/read somewhere that the dev of EWBF is involved in the developpement of zcash4win.

My rigs are more stable too when I disable it.

that's very doubtful. ewbf isn't even that good. take a look at his stupid miner its highly incomplete and now its also the slowest because he BAILED on his program so he could just rake in free money

You keep spouting that "slowest" claim - when in actual fact it is NOT the slowest in many cases and in others the difference is LESS than the 2% fee charged by dstm or BFast.
