you can restrict ip access at api settings and use it from that ip.

It really depends from what version you are migrating from. As a general suggestion, there shoudnt be any issue starting from scratch as the bot is able to rebuild your situation by reading your order book. So just follow the step by step guide we have at our wiki and shoot me a PM if you have any issue

You can upgrade later if you need to/want to.

 It kinda depends on who or where you buy from.

 Some people are selling thru websites which means sometimes its instant as soon as they received the notification they enable it or sometimes they might be rather busy (aren't we all).

 Some people sell directly (like me) so you usually don't wait after the payment but you may have to wait for them to reply in order to get there (just say hi, we will respond as soon as we are available).

 Both are quite quick, one maaay keep you waiting just a taaad bit after payment, one maaaay keep you waiting before the payment, same results.

Ah I'm changing that so soon we will have to disagree on this: it is called REVERSAL TRADING, implemented and actually in beta group.

I have used this method for manual trading, but I'm yet to understand how a bot would execute trades with it- is anyone able to explain where it will make buys and sells, e.g. Tenken/Kijun crossover, price piercing through/collapsing through cloud?

Also I see there's a Trading View plugin, I have a TV account and it's something I'm interested in as I'd like to be able to automate trades I  currently carry out with it.

Is any reseller vastly knowledgable about either of these two questions?

Create a specific Gmail app password, will also require 2FA.  Have your reseller and/or Narko double check key has tv enabled.
