Couple of questions I just bought gunbot v3 I skipped on the v5 until it is out of beta.


I bought the 2 exchange license, is Cryptopia only for v5?  It is not visible on v3

Is there a time frame that the pre config trading strategies will be available. The site showed 5 different options were available for purchase soon.

I am currently letting it run on the default BB ( 25 on buy and sell)  that is came with to get a feel for it. Doing about 7 trading pairs on Polo. Seems to be along time between buying and selling.

There is a nice change to the algorithm too and I'm including this in the demo version (and all official licenses by now on. I called it "1000 trades per day". Basically, the new algorithm generates a lot more buy/sell loops: as long as the price stays below the EMA1 and EMA2, it continues to buy. The difference is: it places the sell order immediately on the book, calculating the selling price by the buy price and the Margin to sell % you set in the configurator

Why this change? I get easily bored and I realized when the GUNBOT places a buy order, it would wait for the price to grow, before to place a sell order: I lost the chance to buy even more cheap coins!!!! So I changed that and the GUNBOT now continuously buys and continuously puts immediate sell orders, generating so an unbelievable number of trades (and profits). But I put a different limit: if the coin goes cheap for long, it would drain your bitcoin balance, the limit (you can set in the configurator) is the % of BTC balance you want to invest in this kind of algorithm (default is 20% max, it means when it used 20% of your BTC balance, it would stop to buy and wait for a sale to happen before to buy again). I like this because it is more dynamic and it follows the EMA up and down, closer. Let me know your opinions.

I'm amazed from what I read so far, but you should really consider finally filling up this post:

You have no idea how time consuming is for a lazy noob like me to read all these 140 pages, it took me days and I'm still like 1/3rd on the way ... I also tried to find such an update overview here:

1. With which of the exchanges would you advise me to start? Poloniex is the one with the most volume probably, but I read a lot of complaints about them scamming during the fork, and not sure but now there's a new one coming in November with Segwit2, right?

2. Any advise which AWS Windows option to choose? Is the free one (t2 micro if I'm not mistaken) powerful enough to run the Gunbot with multiple pairs? Which of the available Windows options there is lightest / has proven to have least problems with the Gunbot ?
2a. I guess it's not advisable to run more than one exchange API (Poloniex + Krakken for example) on the same VPS, but is it possible? Pretty sure not on the free one ...

I really would like to see a full update history summarized somewhere, in order to decide which version to install at first and get used with the bot. For a noob like me GUI is an important feature and v3.3.2 sounds good, but I want to know at least all the other features I'll be missing. So please make a versions megapost on page 1 !

4. In the February posts I was reading there were some nice links to a spreadsheet, showing not only the made gains but more importantly - the most profitable coins at the moment. Haven't seen that on the latest pages. If you still update it, probably it's good to post it also somewhere on page 1, like in:

You can with multiple API's. If you do buy Gunbot, you buy the bot for the exchange and as a result, I believe you can have unlimited bots running for multiple Poloneix accounts.

In one pair, it says me this:

Nothing changed in BTC-PAY: Bid/Ask is 0.00058860/0.00058897. Entry points are: 0.00058295/0.00090444

I dont have BTC to buy more tokens, so first it have to sell, since i have 110 PAY, but it sets the price limit sell to 90444 sats so its impossible to sell anything, since the buy price is at 58.800 atm.

i have been trying to get some help on the forum at gunthy.org so not sure if it is better over here to ask

i am trying to figure out a way to reset the "total profit"  every so often so i do not need to turn off the bot.

where in the files does it get that info from?  in the json file?

if i can find where that is getting the info from i may be able to set it back to zero  or  heck even get the "total profit" sent to me via telegram or email via script

i just wanted to share my results of this month.

Beforce September i tested a long, different strats, different settings, although i tested on low stakes i lost a lot and nearly gave up with the bot.
I think this is the point, where a lot of people struggle, the expect a money printing mashine, without investing to much time on it.

Atm the bot is running smoothly allthough the hard market conditions. Several hard drops during the last days..
Keep on testing an botting !!

I'm just using Gunthar's default settings (on 3.3.2) - have you found settings that work better? I'm thinking I need to move on, but don't know where to start.
