It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

if you 'think' it's not profitable, you might want to check out http://whattomine.com and find out otherwise...

I ask him what that numbers mean, but no answer yet...

That is exactly what I do. During the last 24 hours it was always Cryptonight on top. Am I missing something?

You might want to make sure, that you enter your correct cost for power and make sure, you remove the exchanges you are not using.
Btw. every GPU is currently profitable - even a 280x @ 0.3$/kWh!
Maybe you can post a screenshot of your entries, better send via DM to not to further hijack zawawa's thread ;-)

Looks like there's some progress here.
Will see soon how it looks now... and how the impressions from few months ago would compare
my bet that it would be nice and satisfying experience Smiley

Nobody knows what these numbers can mean for making custom hynix MJR memory strap.

Hi Mate, you completely misunderstood me, those are RI 1536, worksize 8, 2 Threads .... I actually suffer as yourself can't find any meaningful strap for that Hynix 8gb MJR crap. i get 905 h/s maximum with GG even if i use XMR stak asynchronos threads!
the last page in custom timings GDDR5 thread, have a user (Kue4to afaik) saying he has his own strap that gives him over 1000 h/s
Please let me know as well if you got any good working strap. That R0land's strap for eth (or xmr too) explodes above 2100 mhz without memory errors. and barely gives similar results to 2250 mhz. You can try going 2350 mhz with the good suggested straps from PBE 1.6.3 and pump up core but tbh, i'm not bothered. really disappointed in those Aorus RX 580 8 GB though, just swallowed them because literally now in australia RX series is non existent again!

Cause its tweakable as f*k.
Cause VEGA (i have non though) can do 2000 h/s while 45 mh/s on Eth? cause with right tweaks, a normal 4gb 580/570 with Hynix can do 925 H/s +++++ and still be power efficient compared to Solo Eth mining (let alone dual mining eth with something else, that overheats cards)
As of today though, I think Eth is skyrocketing. but still i rather mine cryptonight, cause CPU also adds to your combined hash.

what the hell does tweakable even mean ? even the most profitable cryptonight coin wouldn't make it into the top 10 most profitable coins to mine list,  CPU also adds to your combined hash ? it also adds to your wattage so that defeats the purpose, allmost all the Equihash and Neoscrypt coins are more profitable than any Cryptonight, who the hell mines with Vega it's an expensive one trick pony 2 X 3GB 1060 's /570's would outperform it in every single algo and department including PRICE

I will get you guys covered with Equihash soon!
After I'm done with overclocking with the absolutely abominable AMD Display Library, that is...

Besides, I am implementing automatic benchmarking/optimizations/algorithm-switching with pretty neat features, so you guy won't even have to worry about which coins to mine. See, I do everything I can do to be lazy I am an effort-minimalist...

Hello,
I'm new to this miner.
I have a rig of 6 rx580,  it is working fine with gatelessgate , and shows rates around 900-930 on cryptonite. However with gateless gate Sharp  I observer strange behavior  - only 1 card starts at full speed, one with about half speed, other either do not start or starts at very low speed.
Could you please advice.
Thanks

I would suspect the driver first. The only officially supported driver is Adrenalin 17.12.2.
There is a button to download it on the "Misc." tab page.
