Do you mind submitting new kernels to gatelessgate(sgminer) so linux users to benefit from your work or releasing linux binary at least. I don't mind the devfee at all, you deserve it more than claymore.

I'm not sure it's really "Sharp" ... feels more like marketing (Nicehash sponsored) targeting mass adoption with convenience of usage... however I wasn't able to make it work proper rates/all cards though... I was testing it on a rig where I have two Vega FEs and a bunch of 1060... lol.
Seem to be very persistent, as the miner should be. but it does stuff in background, looks heavily multithreaded. Probably you should add small "sticky" status window that will show complete summary of current activities/brief history
I would respectfully argue that consistency of user interface and ease of use tend to be overlooked in open-source projects as the kind of work required for them are invariably tedious and boring. Besides, GGS already has the capacity to access internal control registers of GPU's without restrictions through MMIO. I hope I could show you really "Sharp" stuff soon. By the way, NiceHash doesn't sponsor this project. (I wish they would.) Our focus as an organization shifted away from open-source projects to excavator already. I am working on this project purely out of desire to develop an open-source miner. I guessed wrong about the project origins... that's good:) Will wait to see some improvements here, thanks for your efforts! Also FYI: just started running still awesome GG pre6 to get me some XMR on Vegas FE (Stak and Claymore both are starting to produce junk after few hours (could be that dwarf pool is fucking with me though... not sure) setting "no-adl": true, makes it start proper. Will see how it will go.

Delete "C:\Program Files\Zawawa Software LLC\Gateless Gate Sharp\GatelessGateSharp.sqlite", and you should be fine.

I decided to calculate, how mich solutions must give my 2 RX 580 cards. Correct me if I'm wrong.
1730 h/s = 1730 * 60 = 103800 h/min Pool difficulty is 100000 103800 / 100000 = 1.038 sol/min * 60 = 62.28 sol/hour.
All correct?

hi zawawa, i know i do not like the programs, there is a way to have an .exe file with a .bat file insert the command line and launch the program, like the previous version GSS may be used with auto-start option. For one pool/algo you can tune settings and enable auto-start in options. Atfter that simple launch of exe-file will start mining. zawawa, for different pools and algos made command line possibility or at first at least different config file launch.

Happy to see you again! I will consider a Linux version once the miner becomes feature-complete. There are so many changes I made to the kernels that back-porting does not make much sense, unfortunately.

I'm... actually surprised, for once. That's damned decent of you - and, of course, thanks.
You are very welcome. Let's wait and see how the magic peanuts would grow!

In version 0.0.17 hashrate in devfee-mode increased from 22 to 25 MH/s. In the mode of mining in "my wallet" rate was changed from 20 to 24MH/s. Version 1.0.0 is not yet possible to test. Noticeable improvement in operation.
P.S. RX480 (1310/2000) with altered timings, but without a reduced voltage.

don't worry, you will earn only peanuts cause you chose the open source path i put a laughing smiley, but inside me i cry You know, that might be true, but right now - regardless of the income or lack thereof - I'm glad I open-sourced these, and I'd do it again. Simply because of the fact that while the mining "community" may be full of over-entitled leeches that, if allowed, would take everything you could give, and disappear when you couldn't.... Well, shit - there seems to be ONE person here who understands the work that went into this shit, and actually values it. Even enough to give something back. Kinda motivating. kudos to that!

MIMO what you mean you know well how to do shit low level, why? how much of the code is resurrected from sgminer or else how modular it was(or maybe gateless gate or maybe it wasnt:) to be useful? btw I'm running now two vegas FE on gatelessgate - I find it the most clear and stable (two FEs getting 1.2-1.3Kh on XMR @ 1200:1100@850mv, Q42017 pro driver, overdriven for volts, no mods, Asrock h110 14nm i5 & 16gb ram. there'er and two 1060 6gb on the same board normally running dual claymore. using - it definitely does something, allowing miner to start:) does it have to do with the new AMD driver API ? Tried your v1 - really nice, although not very profitable experience see here: https://postimg.org/gallery/1ukh0nyo8/looks like it was all fine until devfee kicked in, also that was kinda the time when it switched to us server and it all fucked up on reconnect back?. ... maybe btw any suggestions on vega fe 16gb configs? I also have almost exactly the same system with two vegas 64 and two 1060 as well EDIT: and now:

He means he can access the GPU directly as I do with wolfamdvolt, but I don't think he can touch the voltage - not yet.
Either I access the ATOMBIOS or directly manipulate voltage controllers via the I2C bus, no? I was actually able to manipulate the voltages with excavator. I was a bit too ambitious with that project, though. Obviously I cannot use the same codes, but I think it's a matter of time.
