This again? I already sold out at 10 satoshi 2 years ago, then the next day it got pump and dumped to 1400 satoshi. I aint playing this game again.

Would you mind to show us, when Mooncoin hit 1400 sat?

--> http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#charts

According to that chart, the highest (so far) was 31 sat.
I used wrong words. Most of the trading back then was being done via litecoins, so "litoshi" instead.

You do realize Mooncoin used to be on Cryptsy and Poloniex 3 years ago right? It got removed from both due to having 0 volume for the past 2 years
There was a huge pump when the original Mooncoin dev came out of the hospital (He was inactive due to it before that) But when he came back to work on the coin, it went from 10 litoshi to 700 that day, then to 1400 the next day. This was on Cryptsy, which was the biggest altcoin exchange at the time.  Mooncoin stayed in the 1400 litoshi range for a few weeks and was one of the largest volume coins during that time. It then got insanely dumped on and there was no big buy support left, it immediately crashed down to 1 satoshi and has stayed there for 2 years.

For those of you trying to get Mooncoin BACK on Poloniex (yes, BACK ON) it will likely require a sizable amount of money to do so, because they have already removed Mooncoin for being a failure for so long.

Good luck to you all in the future, but you need to know the history and stop bandwagon-ing.

Hi MoonCoin Community,
Is there a tutorial show us how to do mining please ? I'm newbie at it.
Thanks for your reply.

Best

Please read that to begin with:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg13418770#msg13418770

If you still have questions, then ask Evangelo or coinflow, they are miners and are able to answer in detail.

For first considerations, this is a good start:
http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-to-mine-litecoin/ (Mooncoin uses scrypt also, just like Litecoin)
My linked old posting above refers to the old Mooncoin-repository on GitHub. The current one is that of barry: https://github.com/mooncoindev/mooncoin, but it misses the basic information on the ports and step-by-step how to compile, like explained on the old GitHub-repos from deaconboogie and gjhiggins. Barry, could you add this on the new repository, too?

Sorry, you are misinformed or didn't remember things correct.

MOON never was listed at Poloniex, and never was removed from Cryptsy,
when Cryptsy stopped withdrawals and trading, MOON was present at Cryptsy with good trading volume,
that's why a lot of people in this thread reported their Mooncoins left forever at Cryptsy.

It's true that an original dev mentioned health issues before his sudden disappearing.

Is this the same mooncoin from 4yrs ago? I think I've still got some lying around. Can I still sell?

Sure.
The 24h volume recently was a half of million dollars, so you probably will be able to sell your coins.

Only 3-4 million MOON are produced by all miners combined per day, and 2.25 billion MOON are in a buy wall at the Bleutrade exchange...
several years ago rewards were very big which leaded to dumping coins by miners and MOON was below 1Sat.

We need all of you to send a request or mail/message to poloniex/bittrex and many others big exchanges to add moon to their list !

Agswinner (the largest Mooncoin investor and one of oldest Mooncoin supporters) told that in 2015 Bittrex promised to him to list MOON when it's traded for BTC.
Yesterday the MOON/BTC volume was about $400,000 and MOON was traded at 3-5 Satoshi level at Bleutrade,
will see if they (Bittrex) keep their word.

They should, unless they claim there's some undefined statute of limitations on what they say. lol

Heavy situation. Go to bittrex slack and talk with the bittrexdevs about it.

Interesting...
the 24h Mooncoin volume is $527,000,
$480,000 at MOON/BTC markets.
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin

Quite unexpected, as MOON is yet not listed at big exchanges.
Do you know any other coin which is able to generate that volume with no big exchanges on board?

At Bleutrade exchange the Mooncoin volume was higher yesterday than one for ETH and DOGE.

thats a pretty cool thing, if its only a matter of i think till moon takes it rightful place on 1 or more of the larger exchanges. Thats why im im buying and holding. Maybe a few more whales will dump it back down but if we all catch that moon as they do so, we can then distribute the wealth and move moon into a new era, Beyond mere pump n dump..
What ive tried to describe here is possibly a factor to explain the sudden rise of many coins recently. New investors, lots of smaller wallets, less and less whale dumpers.
To the MOON!(1step at a time)

I really like your passion and choice of words.

I would like to say hi to you all! Roll Eyes
I really hope to get to know you all better and to gain more understanding about the project.

Is there a road map or can we perhaps create one, something that will portray a picture for the newcomers like me?
Besides coinomi are there plans for other exchanges and approx time frame?
Also there is nothing on youtube, maybe we can create some informational videos, right now there is just one saying mooncoin is a scam.

I hope I am not asking already answered questions and if I do excuse me.
I see potential in this project, like you all do and I am excite to collaborate with you on it.

Denis

Thank you. You are welcome to create your Mooncoin Youtube channel.
People are misinformed about MOON and need better understanding of decentralized systems and Mooncoin.

Mooncoin is freedom. If you want to run your Mooncoin Facebook page, or Youtube channel,
you are more than welcome, only please report the link to have a look at it and include in the OP if everything is okay.

Also if someone had edited Wikipedia articles before and has a good understanding of their rules and requirements, maybe you'd like to help with creating a Mooncoin article at Wikipedia? It should be mentioned how many funded addresses and successfully processed transactions MOON has (to show that it's not just one of thousands of coins),  its advantages over Bitcoin and innovations, especially MoonWord (SmartLikes are still in progress...)

I've tried to add a Wikipedia-article years ago, but they deleted everything I created with the simple argument, that there were no links to relevant sources to prove (press-articles and the such) ...  Sad

Maybe this can help:

Awesome, however, what would I be looking for that would indicate that there are multiple address attached to the same wallet?

Its listed all over their explorer pretty much, hard to miss. Visit any wallet address and you can see links to the wallet addresses.
