The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Of course, the new difficulty readjustment algo is priority, it goes without saying.
Also mining from wallets with one click will drive more common users, not only professional miners.
And then, the last in this order - a new codebase, derived from Litecoin, which already contains Segwit,
that's why it goes without saying, too, or is it needed to be removed? Obviously not.
Never underestimate the exponential growth of adoption. If you have a chance to include this feature, with the future in mind, better just do it.

DK3 has certainly caught my attention:

mining at 2.7mh until timestamp ~ 1496480645; where a second gridseed is brought online (5.4mh).
please note the figures above are with DK3 largely untuned.

propz to metamorphin for the suggestion, once fully tweaked i think this is what we will go with  Cool
my particular interest is in the 'timeout' function, if a particular timeout has been exceeded with no new blocks found; the retargetting algorithm will actually start lowering the difficulty dynamically.

So, those of us in the Discord chat voted to start up a MOON Community Fund.

The MCF is about pooling donated or gifted MOON to help pay for things like recurring marketing, advertising, etc. directly related
to Mooncoin. I was elected Treasurer; responsible for the creation, management and accountability for the account.

For anyone wishing to donate or gift, the MCF MOON address is: 2LpMRkRjM6VQnttqB6X3L77tNZATx6Fzar
Those interested can also use this address on a blockchain explorer to audit the account at any time.

The Fund can only be used by way of a successful vote or poll by the invested Community. Meaning, only those holding MOON
may vote. The minimum amount of time a poll or vote should be up for is 24 hours to give the Community time enough to respond.

The current method of voting is by creating a poll in the #moon_polls channel on the Discord, located here: https://discord.gg/Hhbmdjd
Any poll or vote brought forth with the intention of using the MCF must be pre-approved by either the Dev team, the Discord Admins or the Treasurer.
Discussion is welcome and encouraged in the relevant Discord channels or here in the ANN. Anyone wishing to request a project, initiative or idea
to be voted on for anything MOON related can do so in those places.

Any questions, please PM me here or DM me in the Discord.

Cheers! Smiley

PS - Current MCF amount is 10,206,887 MOON.

I can tell because the Dev just released a brand new web wallet and is nearly done integrating Segwit from Litecoin 0.13 build
all within a weeks time.

I can tell because we were just voted onto the C-CEX exchange.

I can tell because if you look at the volume for just today, it shows an explosion of interest.

I can tell because there's a highly active and involved community of individuals I've been with on the unofficial
Discord channel for MOON that have been busting their asses to make this the best coin we can make it, while
having fun doing it.

If you *can't* tell, you need to pay more attention!

The 24 h Mooncoin volume today is $165000.
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#markets
Not bad, taking into account that MOON is yet not traded at C-cex and Bittrex.

Only about 100 million MOON are produced by all miners combined per month currently,
and there is a 4 billion buy wall at the MOON/BTC Bleutrade market only.

Txn explorer shows 502 bad gateway when I check https://bchain.info/MOON/tx/{TXID}

can you pm txid so we can diagnose this further.
this will be the first issue i've seen with moonrush..

Hi MoonCoin Community,
Is there a tutorial show us how to do mining please ? I'm newbie at it.
Thanks for your reply.

Best

Please read that to begin with:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg13418770#msg13418770

If you still have questions, then ask Evangelo or coinflow, they are miners and are able to answer in detail.

Thanks for your replyu but I don't get a word of it. Sorry for my newbism ... I'll ask Evangelo or Coinflow when connected. See U

BTW If Segwit signaling is being blocked by any chance, its because Bitmain is blocking the signaling with their network(Like they have done to Viacoin,Vertcoin,Litecoin,Digibyte,Monacoin,Bitcoin etc....)

It's very important that Mooncoin is trading with the 3 famous cryptocurrencies and the USD. I am more optimistic now for the Mooncoin's  future ! The next goal, is a practical algorithm and...we will leave for the moon !! Smiley
