ETH and EOS with their smart contract will be usefull for a long time. Also, golem may become something interesting.

Agree. Smart contract platforms such as Ethereum, NEO, EOS, and Cardano have a bright future ahead of them. This is simply because they will become highly demanded cryptocurrencies over time, as developers create dApps, and/or tokens for different use cases in the mainstream world. As such, they'll remain in the crypto market for years to come. On the other hand, I believe that Golem will also survive in the future because it'll become a token with lots of utility and demand for decentralized computing.

Therefore, if an altcoin proves to bring real uses to people in the mainstream world, it'll remain actively supported by its community and development team for a long time. However, if an altcoin becomes abandoned by its dev team and community, then it will slowly die until it's no longer traded on the market. Hopefully, most altcoins will be here to stay for years to come due to their features, active development, and community interest in maintaining them for the long term. Just my opinion Smiley

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think ETH is gonna survive because many altcoins are based on ETH. Other altcoins like tokens on those exchange platforms are more promising. Eg. BNB on Binance, BMX on BitMart.

I look ETH to be the next bitcoin because it is true that almost tokenized project nowadays are using Ethereum's blockchain. It is already a clear manifestation that ETH's use case is so popular that can help it boosts its market cap to the next level.

I also think that the token that will survive this kind of markets is the one we usually use and support like for example, the tokens of the exchanges,
and the token that creates another token like ETH.

I am optimistic towards the future of altcoin. because cryptocurrency will run in line with advances in technology and information. other than that life will demand to live more easily.
the knowledge that I can, altcoin that will survive in the future is ETH, ETH also has advantages in technology, transactions can be done faster and now ETH is also widely used. this is what will make ETH able to compete.

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
Ethereum is one of the altcoins that can survive different obstacles and challenges. Investors are continuing to buy Ethereum because they know that it has potential in the cryptocurrency market.

I think, a altcoin to be able to survive if only have interest in this technology and also not to miss. Now this kind of altcoin so much. Then if altcoin you choose, have a technology that is not interesting even outdated, I think the altcoin will not be able to survive. I recommend choosing the ethereum Neo, or for investment.

I think that only less than 100 of coins that will be able to survive in the future. We just witnessed that this year, a lot of coins have died and delisted completely in any exchanges and they were created in the last 2 years. The cycle will just repeat on the other coins but the ones like neo, eth and vechain will still exist.

I have a small list of such altcoins. There are Eos, Waves, Monero, Neo and Ripple. These atlcoins have good predictions and I suppose they will be recognised  by others.

I think that in 10-15 years none of the existing crypto-currencies will survive.. Since their functions are too primitive and they have many disadvantages.

only the strongest will survive aльтp. Eth, NEO, perhaps, will survive because the community is emotionally tied to it, and dev is very operational. Altcoins remained the same as bitcoins, but is a little which, undoubtedly, will pass the test time based on good reasons and the level of development.

With a great volume of coins that I think will last a long time. And I think this time lots of Altcoins that has a very good potential so that in the future being able to survive. And even the coin will continue to grow and develop. And I think it's better to start from are now collecting coins for the future.

No one knows which altcoin is going survive, but it seems to me that even top 100 alts can lose dominance and new projects will replace them.
That's the reason why I don't hold more than half a year

Dogecoin, ETH as well as Monero may endure, the actual query is actually Litecoin. Dogecoin is extremely well-liked amongst Chop websites, in addition, Doge possesses quick deal period -- you are able to send/receive within mins. ETH is a simple large participant, sale/buy fast revenue by way of numerous customers, and it's also right now extremely popular altcoin. Monero possesses excellent privateness choice, numerous altcoins customers such as this. Litecoin is actually well-liked amongst simply dedicated customers, consequently, Litecoin long term isn't obvious, it may endure in the event that you will see brand new Litecoin customers.

The altcoins that will most likely survive are Zcash, EOS, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, and Ripple. Let's see what happens for NEO, NEM, and Waves. I'm on the fence about these.

I guess only projects that have real target and plan have a chance to survive. Unfortunately at this moment there are too many senseless projects.

The technology behind the coin, the team and the community basically decides the future of the projects in the cryptomarket.  What is now in the trends?
There is an opinion that in the near future AI technology and 3D / VR projects will develop very well.
The very idea of the project plays an important role. Read a little and understand. Do you like the idea? Is it feasible in the near future? Are there any good partnerships and / or finished products? analyze for yourself and make a decision.
