I am just using web wallet and for 2 years of using it I don't have any problem except for the bank related matters that my bitcoins can not be withdrawn, but still I am not referring to just use web wallet only, I really want to use other bitcoin wallet storage maybe in the future but for now I am sticking to the things that I know so my vote goes to web storage.

As the poll shows 'Web Wallet' is the most popular type of wallet. The ease and convenience provided by web wallets are not matched by any other mean of wallet. I am using Coinbase from last 15 months and never faced a single problem. Rather, I enjoy the fees free fast transactions.
However, wallets are use specific. Not every wallet caters all need. Therefore, I am using Paper wallet for holding 2 BTC at the moment. If I keep it in my web wallet, I may use it soon!  Grin
So if someone wanna do daily transactions in Bitcoin (Coinbase or Electrum)

I aslo voted for web wallet. Here most of the people using web wallet for their daily use and transaction.Only for huge amount of BTC storing people use paper, desktop, hardware wallet. But for daily use, people use coinbase, blockchain etc web wallet. Also i am holding my half BTC on my web wallet. In my country,i have seen many people also use same wallet for storing Bitcoin, and most of them use only Coinbase wallet.

I'm using various wallets across multiple currencies. From desktop lightweight to web wallets and full nodes for different altcoins. On my phone I'm using only the jaxx wallet at the moment as I don't need anything else. Wink

I use blockchain.info simply because it has a very user-friendly interface and it has a mobile app that I can use to manage my wallet on the go. However, I was thinking of switching to Coinbase because I might invest

in a Shift card. I think it would be nice to carry around a physical card which holds all of my bitcoins. I could pay with them almost anywhere, and I think switching wallets will be worth it.

I use a web wallet as my main wallet. because web wallet can be accessed from anywhere. on any device, as long as it is connected to the Internet. it makes things easier and faster.

I agree with you . blockchain wallet has many advantages over the other. other than that we feel safer because blockchain.info have security features that are much more sophisticated. we can use this with a very comfortable wallet.

There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

As I do not have lots of bitcoin, investing in any offline wallet like in trezor etc is not feasible for me.
I also do not want to take all the pain of keeping paper wallet safely for such a smaller amount therefore I keep them on lightweight mobile wallet.

That is certainly what most people are doing. But sometimes I wonder how secure are online wallets, such as blockchain.info, since many experienced users recommend using other types of wallets, especially hardware wallets. Probably the safest thing to do would be to save the coins on multiple devices.

They all come with their own advantages but remember technically speaking there is only one wallet which is the private key.
So whatever you do and whatever you use, they'll all use private keys to transfer coins.
Do you save the private key of each address before depositing? if not then you deserve to lose your money.

No matter what type I always save my private keys but web wallet such as bc.info is my favorite.

That's why the true options are:

1) Bitcoin Core: The real deal. You get the full blockchain and fully validate everything
2) Paper wallet: You can store offline, but you can lose the paper
3) Trezor: Nice hardened system, but you can lose the device

I think best is 1) with tons of wallet.dat encrypted backups everywhere

I use an online wallet and the local exchange. because it is more flexible than using desktop wallet makes it very difficult although it will be safe. for the security of online wallet you can add 2FA

i use web wallet (coinbase) because very easy to use, but you should know that they are really reliable to secure your coin-coin with a high level. I like Coinbase compared to other web wallet cause coinvase web wallet designed by simple allows you to create more than one bitcoin address, Founder Coinbase have a proven track record and had raised money from venture capitalists who are very prominent. This gives Coinbase level of legitimacy that is unmatched in the room Bitcoin. They also are the only major Bitcoin company that never experienced a major hack

I use coinbase for my online wallet or web wallet, even though people says that it is not that safe to put your money on web wallet,, but the advantage of this is once your computer is broken you can use your phone, once your phone is lost, you can have your PC, once your PC shut down you can go to computer shop to have your wallet, web wallet can access wherever there is any connected devices to internet, so once you have internet you can have your money anytime and anywhere, and also an exchange wallet too that is supported my fiat or my country’s currency.

yeah, online wallet is so convinient to use. anywhere you might go as long as you have an internet connection with you you can send money. if not, you can visit any stores who has free wifi. this is the advantage if one uses an online wallet. but unfortunately, its kinda less secure cause this is hold by the third parties. if the site will be breached then your money might be lost in just a blink of an eye.  but as long as third parties will secure the site then we dont have to worry. plus, we can add 2FA with our own numbers or with google authenticator app. moreover, i use xapo wallet and coins.ph wallet.
