Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

web wallet makes me free access to it whenever I want. with a variety of devices that can be operated then the web wallet is the best choice for people who are mobile and also want a practical thing.

two of the options in this poll are not even a wallet. such as exchange (i have no idea what faucet credit is!) and physical bitcoin (this one is a collectible not a wallet.)

and the poll should be multi choice not single choice, because technically anybody should be using multiple wallets in my opinion. at least two: one hot wallet for spending and one cold for long term storage.

and my cold storage is not in the poll Cheesy
i use a live linux with its network removed and encrypted for log in with Electrum on it.
to me i personally use two types of wallet, although both are online wallet. one is blockchain and second is yobit wallet. to me online wallet is the best option but i keep a little amount of bitcoin in it because of security reason.

I also use online wallets for my use. I have that bitcoins in my online wallets which I have to spend or with which I have to trade while I do not store my bitcoins in any exchange or in any other online wallet because I know that in these wallets I will give access to any other person to my bitcoins and I will have the fear of its hacking.

I use online, desktop, and mobile Bitcoin wallet.  I even use different apps for it.  Then get the private key and print it out so that I have a back up whenever a problem occurred (this is for the desktop wallet and online wallet that enable us to keep the private key)  I would have avoided the online wallet that does not give a private key for the address that we used but well it can't be avoided since exchanges does not provide that and I am trading Bitcoin actively with altcoins.

I also using web wallet because it is very easy to use than a cold storage or any kind of wallet because all you gonna need is to open or sign up then after the confirmations then you can have your bitcoin wallet unlike in desktop wallet that you need to download and wait for your wallet to sync so i think web wallet will always save up some time. I also store bitcoins in different trading sites not just only in yobit because i always want to be one of the lucky dump catchers of an altcoins because if i saw altcoins that is dumping and i have an advantage because i don't need to deposit since i already putted some bitcoins on that site.

It's actually good, in the web wallet that I currently use we pay bills and buy stuff using their site, we can even convert it into our actual currency and withdraw it through a bank that varies.

I use  desktop wallet,  I am more comfortable using it done mobile wallet.  I also use online wallet due to trading purposes but I always enable my 2fa for another line of security.  I haven't use walletpaper because I do not know how to make it.  Maybe when I learned it, I'll be using it for the Bitcoin savings I am planning.

Yeah that's partially right, web wallets are easy to use because of what you mentioned but most of you forget the security of being a bitcoin holder. Desktop wallet is one has the high security compared to those web wallets but hardware wallets are the best. And storing coins to those exchange site is not safe, I know you know that already but once those site got down and especially got hacked like what happen last year with bitfinex all you have to do is cry and put all the blame on those sites without thinking that its your fault too and those incident will happen again soon to this web wallets or any exchange site because of this price hike.

First i was using web wallet coinbase and xapo as i was using faucet to earn bitcoins, but after came to this forum and started to earn through lot ways so i have started to use desktop wallet electrum as i am doing sports betting and coinbase dont support gamblers account and they freeze it. Now i am happy with electrum desktop wallet which is very light weight and only passphrase needed to be secured to rebuild the old wallet.

I have tried several wallets lately. Both desktop and web wallets.
I haven't found one that I like and fits my needs yet.
So the journey continues to finding one.
I recently lost my cell phone so using one that is mobile is not an option right now. Embarrassed

Just want to ask what the hell is brainwallet?Im curious about this thing since its my first time to hear out such wallet. Among the selection on the poll ive chose webwallet and most people do the same.Ive been using this because web wallets is somehow convenient and accurate to use on daily bitcoin transactions.
This will be useful for you dude.  Roll Eyes

I think the web wallet like blockchain give full control to you they provide a private key and a backup wallet to you. besides web wallet is more flexible than a desktop wallet

blockchain.info's wallet (the only online one I use) is convenient, no doubt.  And I still use mine, but keep relatively smaller amounts on it.  I have a small amount in my MultiBit wallet on my computer.

Most of my BTC is in cold storage using hardware wallets.  My favorite (at least so far) is the Digital Bitbox, as its construction seems very durable and it uses its own Windows program rather than a Chrome extension, that also means I could use it when traveling should I wish (on other computers) without risking my BTC stored therein.
