I use web wallet and I prefer to use it that other wallets listed because I can see it is safest in my part, unlike hardware wallet though it is stated that it is safest once your computer hacks with some other hackers your wallet is in danger also when you reformat your computer unexpectedly it is a bye bye coins. Web wallet is easier to use, you can access it whenever or wherever you are, but then fees might vary of this because it increases too. But it is up to you where you can easily access your coin..

I use web wallet. It is available all times and everywhere.
This is not exactly true, I remember using the blockchain.info wallet back in the day and sometimes there was so much traffic that you will not be able to get access to your account and while I don’t remember a DDOS attack recently against the site I will not be surprised if that has happened at least once in the history of the website, so be careful.

Where did I mentioned or suggest to use a web wallet only. I just said, fees has been increased in high range as like that way price is also increased in the chart. You have to offered 1.50 to 2 USD for a transaction. Even I said this is ridiculous from the wallet providers.

I was just trying to restate what I said earlier in a different fashion, since you were talking about bitpremier and buying cars with bitcoin, which wasn't the point of what I was saying.

I voted an electrum wallet, since I like that I am in control of my wallet with private key on my hand. i can retrieve anytime whenever I want. Also I am maintaining an exchange wallet for converting my bitcoin to local currency.

At first I use blockchain.info, it was my first wallet since 2 years ago i know bitcoin. Then I use coinbase because there is no fee, even though it is now a fee. But I still use it. Using the wallet in the exchanger is also good as in bittrex and poloniex but we have to keep it secure

I used to use coinbase, but now it is not my choice. Charges are not a reason for me to give up. After a long time of use, I noticed coinbase is not a good wallet, sometimes, I want to make a transaction, but they do not execute it immediately, my deal is even made long after.

When I first time knew about Bitcoin, I knew nothing about it so I used a web wallet called Xapo (maybe you know that name).  As its transaction fee is free so I keep using it until it recently, counting fee on their transaction Smiley

I think electrum is suitable for all of us even if he is a newbie or an expert. I have used electrum for many years and I find it very useful and easy to use. Right now, I am using two wallets: core and electrum. Core is better since you can do many things with it. If you want to learn some advanced techniques with your Bitcoin, Core will be the best choice
Yeah, right now, electrum is better but when Xapo, Coinbase and other wallets have no fee on their transactions, they are the most suitable wallet for newbie, they don't even earn enough money to pay their fees

You're right. Like Coinbase, We don't own our Bitcoin. Coinbase keeps our Bitcoin, what we see in our balance is kust on our COINBASE BALANCE, so, if we need our private key? No way Smiley

Any wallet you have that is on any website is super vulnerable to all kinds of attacks, I would highly suggest you to take them off now.  For one thing, typing out your private keys to access your wallet all the time is an insanely bad idea because of the fact that there could be key loggers on your device recording your private keys and stealing them without you knowing.  Or better yet, they could log your password to get into your wallet as well... not to mention that I'm pretty sure all web wallets have your private keys; so if you aren't the only one who is in control of your private keys, you don't necessarily "own" your coins.

There are just so many security vulnerabilities, that it just sounds like that is just a bad idea to have everything you own on a web wallet. I know it's "convenient", but Bitcoin suggests and proposes the idea to let you "be your own bank" for a reason.

I started out the same way as well, and I totally understand why.  It was super convenient and easy to purchase and use, but the mere fact that you are relying on those centralized exchanges to purchase and store coins are dangerous.  Even purchasing your coins from there makes me, personally, uncomfortable.  Now and days I just use localbitcoins.com or bitsquare.io.
