they do not have to focus on their studies; the bitcoin is just for those who are unemployed because they learn to do it so they have no time in their studies

Quiet confusing, I am employed and yet and I am doing great in this cryptoworld. In my view bitcoin in classrooms is a great idea to educate young people about the importance of bitcoin and its technology, because after all they are the one who will benefited in the future.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

This is for a personal writing project I'm working on. I imagine that Bitcoin would be good for things like teaching things like math with decimals ("How many Satoshis do you need to get a tenth of a Bitcoin?", stuff like that), budgeting (Spend it on whatever you want, but when it's gone, it's gone), or even a little bit of IT / programming stuff like how cryptography works. What do you guys think of this?

it is a good idea to spread knowledge about btc. something will be perfect if you have the proper knowledge. so i thinh it can be done.

I prefer yes, because cryptocurrency education in school is necessary. Besides adding insight, it will also result in the development of bitcoin in the future.

I think if the bitcoin is not match on the subjects mathematics it is better to the bitcoin that it can be have an own subject or likely "Currency" subject in this subject not only the bitcoin will teach or learn but all the crypto currency and their history and meaning and why they made. It is an new knowledge to those students was not know about the currency world amd its better to know it because they can help it.

Very nice idea if some schools now adopted with bitcoin to their subjects but I think mathematics subject here is not included we have already calculator to compute in converter. Yes programming that include in bitcoin and I have some additional, why not marketing subject and livelihoods programs for better future fits in bitcoin. It is better for the young people to explore cryptocurrency world and tech them for brighter future.

This is  a good idea. Because if you want to go into bitcoin you go to school first so you can study how cryptocurrency works.

Idont think so, I can not disagree because there are colleges and universities that are actually teaching bitcoin as one of their subjects. About what you said, teaching how many decimals or what, how many satoshis to bitcoin, that is not how it is.  It is just a simple math that every highschool student know. Some sort of budgeting is thought on our economics class so adding a subject like what you said is just plain worthless. maybe a thing like introducing to bitcoin, how it works, how trading, mining and stuff like that works, also other altcoins included.

It is okay but as a topic but not as a subject.  I believe there is no need that bitcoin will be taught on schools.  Many bitcoin users and earners are student and being involved with bitcoin does not need s formal education.  Bitcoin was not yet taught in school but it attracts many students and investors.  For me it does not need to be part of the class.

Yes, Bitcoin and blockchain technology should be taught in schools, in order for the newer generation to be much more familiar with digital currency, since it will be their future. I think it is safe to say, that we will see the fall of Fiat currency in our time and will be replaced by digital currencies, since baby boomers will soon retire and gen x will take over, and most of the Gen x are aware of a fast pace technology, there is a higher chance that government's will accept cryptocurrencies, and it will be supported by the following generation, the millennials, and the more it will have a solid support, since most millennials today are into financial freedom and security.

That won't happen and it has to be like this, bitcoin and child together, big no, it can become like gambling. Imagine everyone writes that bitcoin trading is very profitable, holding is better and etc, if child will hear that, he/she may become addicted to get profit from it. Bitcoin is a part of economy and there is no need for childs to know economy but I think there must be bitcoin lessons in universities for people who learns economy or busines administration, management and etc. Without knowinf bitcoin, I can't imagine any professional economist in future.

I think it's good to mix some bitcoin stuff in education it can help students to be aware about bitcoin and to gain knowledge about it even the basic once so that they will know the benefits we can get in bitcoin it may help the students to be aware of it because may later on the bitcoin will become our currency we don't know the future everything maybe put on advanced everything is techy.

For me i think that bitcoin can teach it in the classroom and it's be in under form of economic material and  it's so important for the pupils to know the advantages  of bitcoin and the importance of it for our lives.

I think no, because if you teach bitcoin to the students, they will focused studying here in bitcoin,'cuz everyone wants money and we wanted to know how to earn money so that's why, my answer is no because some subj. will be left behind.

That's a really good idea taking it as form of measurement figure to make students learn better and also promote the bitcoin. This may help in increase in the bitcoin participation and also could be easily used in budgeting. No doubt the idea is good but it is really hard to make school officials and the study boards to implement on that idea.

Curriculum programs are often imposed by ministry of educaion, and since ministries represent the overall policy of governments, it will never tolerate teaching bitcoin at schools.
Though, digital currency and blockchain can be taught since it is related to finance and data bases and it can be used as examples.

I think this kind of topic is will depend to the proffesor or the lecturer. Because if students will relate to the topic it is a good point and vice versa

It can be a good idea, but of course if you are a teacher and professor there must always be various ways and strategies to teach the students regarding math or even decimals. Its just that the teacher must be creative.

Yes, Why? Because it may teach them how technology can change the way we see different things just like the currency on it's function to the society and how the idea of Bitcoin can make or create a cashless society, but not bitcoin alone, also teach the idea of cryptocurrency and the technology of the Blockchain.
