Bitcoin has a high tendency of overcoming pay-pal, but for now paypal has covered large ground and grounded security under control as it is government backed up.
as bitcoin is spreads and as long as it can maintain invulnerability.it will supersede bitcoin.

Yes but I also see a possibility where PayPal would want to give in and accept Bitcoin. By doing so they would still make fees money from client who rely on dispute protection.

This is great if so, because there were many shops online that uses and accept bitcoin we hope for that to come yet I guess it takes time for them to accept it in their field. As more and more people are becoming aware of Bitcoin and adapting it, PayPal is  quickly being replaced by Bitcoins. Bitcoins has so many new feature that Paypal has to reduce their fee and perform other major transitions to be able to compete with bitcoins.

I beg to disagree with you saying that Paypal is being "quickly" replaced by bitcoin. Paypal still hold the majority of online payment system that support money transfers simply because it is already mass adopted. We are still far from mainstream adoption. I estimate that around 200 million active paypal users globally. And the issue with transaction fees when using bitcoin I think is only one factor that contribute mainstream from using bitcoin as mode of payment specially in small and micro-transactions.

In my country PayPal is not a very popular payment system. I can use bitcoin, but I can not use PayPal. Although this is a famous system, but it is not universally supported

It can't possibly because Bitcoin doesn't provide charge back option and it's a payment processor, however I don't understand how'd people go with paypal while they really suck? a friend of mine accepts paypal to sell in game goods but as soon as people get those goods in bulk they immediately distribute among dozens of other players to make it hard for him to take them back and then they do a charge back, it wouldn't change anything even if he wanted to ban such players as the damage has been done already and only good thing about Bitcoin is the thing with charge backs.

People will always use paypal because they need not to be worried about confirmation times and ever changing fees, Bitcoin needs to be united network first in order to beat paypal.

No, that aint possible. PayPal have gone miles away, and accepted by all. not everyone like the idea of cryptocurrency.

it is not impossible because there is a growing community of bitcoin. and i guess it will grow more sooner.

As a means of storing value, Bitcoin has already overcome PayPal a long time ago. But as something to buy things, I think the road is long ahead...

Yeah in terms of value, as a storage token bitcoin has overtaken PayPal. Bitcoin gives the access to pay and serving as the payment portal. Bitcoin has been growing in a perfect manner, but few features make PayPal a more preferred one than bitcoin.

In fact, the service that is provided by the bitcoin is still very good compared with paypal. it shows in the delivery and receipt of the money that you do. should we all already know, that bitcoin is much better in comparison paypal, if bitcoin has been accepted

Paypal isn't accepted by all. Many services don't accept it because of their strict policies and many individual users, who were scammed with chargebacks stopped using them.
Basically  there are at least 3 main issues with Paypal:
1. Banning users with "suspicious activity" and this involves crypto businesses.
2. Chargeback scams
3. Typical corporate attitude towards customers. "we don't have to explain our decisions, all decisions are final, your funds were blocked, fuck off"

Just received a refund for shipping costs when returning an item to the merchant, you can't compete with Paypal when it comes to online shopping, well, you can but it will be very difficult. Smiley

Bitcoin and Paypal aren't even competitors, don't know why bitcoiners are so obsessed with Paypal.

I sold Steam keys on Ebay. Buyers, yeah there were loads of them, bought the key, claimed they been hacked, redeemed the keys. Paypal compensated me with a goodwill payment that did not cover my losses. I payed for either malicious buyers or buyers idiocy.

I don't think so, as far as I can see it they can be on the similar scale which means equal in popularity. Because I don't know why people are still getting to the point of matching Bitcoin and Paypal. It always comes down to the matter of preferences of the user. If the user thinks this one is more convenient than the latter then he will be using it. We don't need to match everything with Bitcoin to determine if it will be successful or not, it just needs to be on par with what other payment methods are offering.

Bitcoiners are not so obsessed. The increased usage of PayPal than bitcoin make it look like obsessed. This is not real, bitcoin and PayPal differ in the way of usage and service correspondence. PayPal is just a gateway with security features for business transaction. Bitcoin is not like that, the coin itself serves as a payment similar to currency holding certain value.

Simple answer is: ''No''.
In fact, it's obvious that paypal and bitcoin are very different and have different purpose.
Bitcoin is decentralized, no government control, anonymity etc.
Some merchants offering payments in bitcoins but on the end of day they have to exchange it to the real money (because they can't report such income to authorities and btc price changing all the time).
With paypal, situation is very different.
It's company officially registered in America, and they must follow American laws and financial regulations.
All users must share their true identity and report their income from paypal to their local tax offices.
So, bitcoin and paypal have different purposes and goals and because of it we can't compare them.
If I have company, I will probably use paypal but if I'm individual user, I will probably use bitcoin.

I don't agree. PayPal is digging its own grave by allowing chargebacks and deciding what they allow you to spend your money on.
Chargebacks are made for scamming, it's a stupid option that gives the client, who pays in fiat, the advantage over a service provider. Why shouldn't it be the other way round? Why shouldn't they be on equal ground. When I think of chargebacks I always see 2 people making an exchange and one of them puts out a bill and waves it in front of the other guy, the other proceeds to gas his car and when the tank is full the first guy puts the money back in his pocket and drives away.
Also how come you can't buy cryptocurrency with paypal? How can they go between his clients saying we don't like this or that, so we'lll block your account. This company is cancer
Paypal is harvesting a lot of resentment with their policies, they are blocking people left and right out of their accounts with no recourse to appeal and if you are lucky your funds are frozen for 6 months, what kind of company can get away with so much abuse, only Paypal as far as I know.

I said very likely, based on the discussions in various forums many paypal users who've switched to bitcoin, the problem of credit card verification is very important because it makes people bother.

Well I can see that's the advantage of bitcoin. We don't really need to be connected to any banking services or needs to verify anything from them. What we only need to do is having a bitcoin wallet and upon registering to any wallet provider we just need to verify it through our email. So the legacy of PayPal will be remembered.  Grin

True we only want a simple transaction, do not bother the troublesome thing, the most important is fast at the moment. No need for such long-winded verification and so forth. Just send and finish

We do not require complicated transactions, in this fast-paced era we need a simple transaction and fast and easy. Complicated deals are outdated and will be left in the future

Yes that's all what we need and with bitcoin though there are some delays that we are experiencing that will be fixed in future. But I know that PayPal is aware of bitcoin right now and they are treating it as their arch enemy in the market that can make their company's sales to have a bullish chart downwards.
