Most people in tech have no clue about the way the world works. The vast majority of people in the world still do manual labor, carry water, etc. People who are constantly engaged with electronics become more and more disconnected from objective reality. The laborers that surround them and do all of their dirty work are invisible to them. In the USA it's mostly guest workers and illegals who clean toilets, prepare food, and farm. Technology creates a split in society, creating a tech elite who spout ridiculous theories about free markets to justify their wealth and others' poverty.

I feel the same. I used to live in a downtown apartment, surrounded by computer and tv screens, used to order food and work from home. I know how it feels to rely on technology in every aspect of life and forget about nature and I would advise anyone living like that to take a trip to the country just for a day. Turn off your phone and you'll feel empty without it and the internet. It will be a shocking experience, like your were taken by force from your safe space and placed in the wilderness.

That's real talk. Sounds really engrossing and all-consuming. Also the result of work taking over home space, and potentially always a crisis. Go on like this non-stop for maybe 5-10 years, and much of life and health is spent. For money to buy more cool electronics that spy on us.

In the modern age of technology, people simply stopped visiting and just seeing each other. They constantly communicate in the phone using the Internet. All in our hands. We can use these technologies for the benefit of learning and business or become dependent on computers.

In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

Technology has a great impact in our society. It helps us to make our living easier. But technology can also ruin our society.

This is true, during '90s we use to play traditional games. But nowadays, many kids doesn't even know how play those games because they are all addicted to online games and other games using phones and iPad. Kids are loosing their attention in their society because of social media.
Aside from that, technology has a great impact as well in our environment. We only view technology technology as laptop, cellphone, and other gadgets. But look at the bigger picture, Factories and Big companies uses technology that causes air pollution. And other more.

Dependence on gadgets is a disease of the 21st century. First, I also began to drag out a technology novelty in my captivity.) Even in my soul, I needed the presence of a phone near so as not to miss anything important. Only self-control is needed here.

Why do you need self-control? What do you personally interfere with gadgets? You yourself say that you want to know the news constantly. You think this is bad? The only negative effect of gadgets is the fact that without them you can not survive if you get into an extreme situation. However, in the Internet you can read a course in survival and to be prepared for anything.

It does seem to make society more prone to expecting to have everything at an instant and immediately available no matter what it is.
They want service now and expect everything to go their way.
This to me is being a spoiled society and technology allows it to transgress this way. So it is ultimately to blame.

      Socially, many are lacking a good social life due to isolation and concentration on technological devices i.e not knowing how to relate properly with friends.
      Psychologically, many of them have been exposed too early to what is above their ages online. i.e Porns, how to load guns and kill...and much more.
     Physically/health wise, a child sitted for hours playing games would easily be exposed to neck pains,back and head aches, eye issues and much more.
 a lot can be said but a few by me.

High technologies are not only the Internet and social networks. I fully support you in the sense that the computer affects both psychologically and physically on a person. But how many other good opportunities, for example in medicine, as well as facilitating labor in other areas of life.

Yes, it is true that technology also have negative effects to us. The advancement of technology helps us in so many ways by making our work easier yet it also made us to be dependent with it. We are so dependent to technology and its innovation that we forgot the custom ways. Another negative effect is on socialization, most of the gadgets nowadays are on an affordable price. When you go outside like the park, you can see kids or maybe a group of teenagers where each of them has a gadget. You can observe that there are less personal communication which shows that technology has already affected the natural social norms of communicating with each other.

If a child spends the whole day sitting on the Internet or playing computer games, this will worsen his vision and well-being. But if you correctly distribute pastime with a gadget, it will help the child to develop and do no harm to health. It is necessary to teach the child how to use technologies competently.

Technology is the same as every other thing in this world. If you know how to use for meaningful purpose than it's more than welcome. When my parents and grandparents told me how they were living in my age that was really sad. The main problem I see is that people are relying to much on today's technology. Therefore, since childhood, the child needs to be taught to do gymnastics of the eyes and the body during long work or playing with gadgets. At me the second chin at first has started to appear because of that that I sat a lot of time with the head lowered or downwards. But thanks to the Internet I found special gymnastics and now I can use the novelties of technology without harm to physical health.

Valid point. Children will grow up with technology usually don't have a social friends. Only friends of facebook or other social media sites. So this is detrimental for a child growing up. They should at least have friends that they can talk to and learn or relate experiences of growing up. Physical health wise is also has effect on children as you mentioned. Not just by sitting, but some kids prefer to used their gadget lying around. So I think that is also dangerous for them. No physical outlet, just sitting and lying almost all hours of the day.

I agree with this. It also happen to create misunderstandings and quarrels with online communications only. Say for example with an online game, most people are bad mouthing each other simply because? They are not afraid . They know the fact that they are mileeess away from the one they are talking with. People are braver in the web

I agree with this. It also happen to create misunderstandings and quarrels with online communications only. Yes. Most people can safely talk online while playing or dating, but in real life they are very shy. On the one hand it's good, but on the other - people will never learn to communicate in real life.
