All technologies can have a negative impact. Like for example a car, if we are not wise in driving it we can endanger ourselves and others. Another example is a smartphone, sometimes we spend time playing a smartphone all day without doing anything useful. Negative impacts always arise if we do not use technology wisely.

Exactly. It is not problem in technology, but how we use it.  Even cars are bad if we only drive around and not taking walk instead.

Yes both of you are right, but with all the kinds of propaganda and publicity that technology has all around us it´s pretty hard to not abuse of it.

Well, one of the core ones and one that I hear from tons of family members is going to be that people are just less sociable in person in general. They'd rather be sitting their staring at a screen then talking to you, it's easier for them and that's all they seem to care for. They want to live in their own bubble and are kind of unaware of what's going on around them, all they know is what's spoonfed to them by the internet.

This is something that happens to me, I use my phone as a procrastination tool and it kind of fucks with everything that I want to get done through the day because I'm simply just fucking around doing things that really just don't need to be done. Nothing you can do about that, it's just bound to happen.

Tech has done many things, good and bad but we're going to have to come to a realization of the good and the bad and see if it balances out. Personally, I do think the good outweighs the bad but who knows.

Yes, I agree it is the reality. Students today is much attached to their gadgets than one-to-one contact. It is common for some students to play computer games regularly, indeed it is one of the major reasons of obesity in our society based on studies.

You are correct but you also need to see the "disadvantages" of technologies, yes it is good if you put it on good use, but using it for good doesn't mean that you are really pursuing for the advantages of it, like what i said above, losing a million of jobs is one of the possible reason for the disadvantages of technology.

Technology has brought good changes/effects in our world but, along with it are the negative effects that has brought a significant impact to people.

As for the parents, it's a matter of discipline when they allow their children to use tablets, cellphones, and such. Also the environment in where they live affects the interaction of children to their friends. So you can't blame the parents on why they allow their children to use these gadgets.

The negative effects of technology that I saw is the children nowadays became more stubborn because of the gadgets such as mobile phone, psp,tablet, ipad mini and others. due to once you buy any of the gadgets and give it to your kids. After a weeks  only their behaviour will suddenly change, this was I had observed about it.
