Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

Yeah that's true. Like me when I'm a child I always use technology like watching television, playing games in my personal computer and now in my android phone but in contrast technology gives us what we need to make our life comfortable and convenient.

I think every thing has some effects it is positive or negative.Technology are not always good.For modern technology children are stay in the room.They do not get enough time to play in the ground because they are always busy to playing computer gaming and etc.For this reason they are suffering from physical problems.

Technology in my own words is where internet started. And it was genius. But yes, I do agree that not all about it is a good thing.
Aside from the great things it do.
Family relationship and respect for others is affected.
Children are internet based in games and their creativity and resourcefulness are reduced due to instant pictures and items in the internet.
Teenagers see things in the web that are inappropriate to their age. Access to these things steals their young minds that is full of imaginations and fairy tales leading to early pregnancy which is common in my country.
Students are lazy in terms of school works like term papers because of instant answers. Books are disregarded mostly.
Technology must be used wisely.

Well, everything has your positive and negative point, one of the negative point of the technology is the bad use of it, most of todays technologies was created in the worldwide war 2 and most of then are used to make good and bad things, but thats its inevitable.

For me the only disadvantage of technology is the way people communicate and their attitude, most people just lie in their bed and stare at their gadgets all day long. Others playing video games, while others communicating through online messaging. People who always play video games are usually physically weak and are very timid. Same goes to online messaging, it disconnects the real face-to-face interaction of the individual to each other, one cannot truly express what they feel while conveying the message to one another. Overall technologies are very helpful in our society, the only reason it has a disadvantage is because people abuse the use of technology and themselves.

Technologies will harm us if we don't put any limit on them, there is some cases that people are addicting in technologies such as surfing through internet ,browsing on facebook, Instagram or even on twitter, they will never put any limit on surfing until they are contented on what they are doing. Technology has brought many blessing for the human being, especially in the communication sector. the world seems to be a small unit because of the technological advancement, but every coin has two sides. So those people also are facing some cyber crime besides the privilege of information technology.

I think bad things are isolation and lack of social skills. Lack of contact with other people in normal daily living, with friends and in social activities. We isolate ourselves by walking around in our own little world and staring at the screen of the mobile device even when we are around other people. By the way studies have shown that people who are socially isolated will live shorter lives.

It is up to parents to educate their children on appropriate use of technology. Unfortunately there are many parents who also have an unhealthy obsession with scrolling through news feeds and living for social media approval.

Very true. Instead of attending to their children, they're holding their cellphones all day. And sad to say that nowadays, in order for their children to behave in public, parents would give their children cellphone/tablet and let them play games or watch something.

Technology on the latter part has also a negative effects. Children doesn't play outside anymore. And it also has something to do with their health condition. I'm afraid i've heard news about children getting hospitalized because of technology. Maybe their parents encourage/limit them from using gadgets.

Parents are liable in all that causes harm to there children specifically with technology.  Yes, I was able to see that news and the child had a seizure because of the prolonged exposure  of playing with gadget.  The radiation caused by these gadgets has really a huge effect on our brain sespecially with the young ones.  I saw an advertisement in fb wherein the sales clerk asked the age of the son of the buyer.  When they told him the age, he said that they could get it when the boy is already 12 years old.

I do not think that we suffer from the fact that they are permanently glued to their gadgets. Many use them not for entertainment, but for making money and receiving information.
Negative only for those who can not control themselves and waste time.
