Is it ok to leave off difficulty?  I'm so confused what setting to put on there.

On their page, it says "By default, zpool will adjust the difficulty of your miner automatically over time until you have from 5 to 15 submits per minute. It's a good trade off between bandwidth and accuracy."

Do you guys leave difficulty blank?  I'm using Dash X11 D3 by the way.

You should re-read the mainpage of the website.

you select what coin you get paid in.  not what coin you mine.

I think that helped answer the problem I was having, but I am using Awesome Miner to hop algos.  Does anyone know if there is a way to specify your payout coin when using Awesome Miner?

the way its done is via the password.  im not familiar with their miner script, but i assume its similar to nemosminer and mine.

I.E: your password would be
Code:
c=BTC,scrypt

BTC is what you are selecting payout currency with, and scrypt would be the algo you are mining.

Hope it helps.

best to let it do its thing, but a quick google search revealed this part from this thread:

I am a new zpool member Smiley

Coming from nicehash, I had a question about min payments...   I see min payments are 0.0025 every Sunday (or 0.01 every 8 hours)

Nice hash did payments every 24 hours @ 0.001....  What was nice about this was that i gained BTC everyday that appreciated as the price goes up.  Now I get paid in BTC once per week at the rate I mined.   I lose the appreciate that took place over the week.  Now I realize  btc is on an upswing and that wont last forever but is there a chance of updating the min payments with the large increase in miners now at zpool?

You need to have 0.01 BTC for a payout. You have enough for a Sunday payout.

I will say this for all of the new miners, Sunday payouts usually happen at the end of Sunday not the beginning, so anyone that might be mining here from Asia (and even Europe) your weekly payout might not be until sometime Monday morning.

It is actually every 2 hours at 0.01. Maybe he'll do it if he goes back to every 8 or 6 hrs but even then I don't see him lowering it that much. Probably will not happen unless BTC fixes the high fees...

Or at the expense of confirmation, do a minimal fee for the TX and it happens when it happens........

When I used sites like luckyb.it, I would send zero fee TX's.  Took a while sometimes, but it was free.   See... back then, you had to go out of your way by a bit to attach a processing fee increase to your TX.

if you look at the whitepaper and satoshi notes;  you will clearly see that the fees were meant to scale....

you know....   exactly the same as the blockchain was meant to be able to scale (blocksize).   Blocksize was a preliminary spam protection implemented at its creation.

If only that the powers that be would make it so.... Speaking of scalability can we actually use segwit addresses here now that he upgraded the servers to support segwit? I haven't been mining here with a BTC addy lately but if I do I would rather use a segwit address.

look at strange transactions on the blockchain.info site... you will see people using segwit addresses already......  but honestly;  its a broken system... I have yet to see any benefit of core's batshit crazy choices recently;  other than the free funds I got from forks;  the people selling those and pumping the value directly into BTC........ but;  that can be done without the "censor-core team" doing what they have been doing.

Are all of you getting paid the correct amount for your mining?

I just mined all day with my test rig and in Awesome Miner it showed profit per day from $6 to $18 per day....

But after mining all day.... It shows me as having $3 in bitcoin in my zpool wallet.

This does not seem right.

I am.. Is that on the status page on zpool or actually in your wallet?  There's a bit of time that it takes to confirm, then transfer across?

I mean on the zpool wallet page. It really seems off from what Awesome Miner is telling me my mining is worth. $3 for all day when my rig never went below $6 per day in Awesome Miner.

Also, are zpool pools down for you guys right now?

I was mining blake2s @ $18 per day in Awesome Miner, and now it's down and not switching. Edit: LOL NVM

ccminer gives me this since about an hour ago before this post
[2017-12-09 11:31:57] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca port 4533: Connection refused

My mining script for CCMINER
ccminer-x64 -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u 1Q7CJDWdWHauFisk7WWPVBiQrhv2J2KCCW -p c=BTC

Also I am a stupid previous NiceHash user and my coins show up as BitCash, am I still going to get paid in BitCoin, if Bitcoin Cash is sent to my address at any point, it will simply be lost my wallet host says (coinbase).

same thing for me. nicehack refugee here. Been monitoring Zpool since it turned off the front end yesterday and went back up.  The stratum servers were up and doing fine until about two hours ago.  Refused connections on blake2s, neoscrypt, lyra2vs mining pools on different rigs running nemos miner.

The answer is simple, this pool is down or under maintenance, simple as that.
