I think that the main reason people make decisions too much based on their emotions is because they put too much money into exchanges.

If you take a big risk and you're not experienced enough to use your brain, it's inevitable that you'll sell at a pretty low point.

The key rule that needs to be followed to manage people's emotions is don't invest more than you can afford to lose.  That way, if you take a risky investment like cryptocurrency you can look at it from a neutral and logical perspective rather than your fear of losing the money you put in.  If you can't handle the heat or you're not experienced enough to do it, you shouldn't invest any significant amounts into cryptocurrency at all.

If you are new to trading and when you make your first loss at that time its really hard to manage your emotions but after getting older in trading profits and loss will become normal aspects and you will get used to it.

I have been losing a lot recently because of emotions as I was a gambler before and it is hard to keep it for myself. I have been calm when the price increased but at dump points I get heart attacks literally. Cry
There will be no differences in handling your emotions in both gambling and trading. But it will not good for your health and for your trading capital if you still losing your calmness in negative market conditions. I suggest you to partice more in mock account just get the drills and practices of different scenarios of usual bitcoin trading, this way you can gain knowledge on controlling yourselves.

I'm dealing with it by simply stopping and changing my plans, it's the hardest enemy as we know we are fighting with ourselves.
How it will be possible to stop trading when we are in loss with our trades. You mean before facing bigger losses you will cut and come out ? But you may be facing all the times losses only because sometimes market will bounce back after showing some negative movements.
i do not think that it is such a an easy job to manage and control our emotions, and specially if a person is playing gambling then it will become more difficult to manage our emotions in gambling.

Get food or sleep this is the best way.. Go to an empty area and scream so hard then go back home trust me it works
Only works to calm your nerves, but the hydra is still alive and would strike again and again. It to understand that it is near impossible to live outside of emotions, because they are actually the things that makes us human, so at best what we can do is to manage them.

Some proven ways to manage emotions is to have a trading plan that encompasses a stop loss and profit target and then with some discipline, we come to realize when enough is enough and be gone. Another way is to engage a customized bot to trade according to our set parameters and because they are emotionless, we can expect them to do exactly as they are instructed to do.

Greetings!

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?

This happens only when you are sitting and watching the trade and waiting for your orders to get cleared , so when market reacts opposite to your view you panic, that is why it is told that just put your buy and sell order and do other work if you have faith then all your orders will get cleared.

Emotional management is part of business managemental skill, which include the trade we are into.
I manage my emotions by first assuming the trade risk.
what highest loss can i experience? thence, whatever happens, i'm able to balance my emotion.

Try to follow your strategic plan.Set your own goals of gaining 5%,10% or 15% profit and dont think as sky is the limit for your profits.when you get your profit, just finish the trade even if the price goes on rising as you dont know whether it is a pump or not and when the pump would end.I have lost a lot due to FOMO.Just stick to your plan.

all because of the experience we get. everyone has the new ability when he was passing through one of it. every experience can be used as a science, including emotions. the more often we make trades, the stronger we can control the emotions we have.

Experience does really matter and do really affect our emotions from first time encounter until in the long run and i consider it as a normal thing that a human being would able to feel off specially when we do trade and other things which we do in the very first time. Managing emotions would be hard for the very first time but same as you said in the time we do make repeat on those actions we really got used to it.

that's right experience allows us to understand the flow and from that we are able to control and manage such feelings and instinct knowing what path we are going to pass thru, with many aspects that include inside trading we need to learn from our own journey and succeed in every times that we deal with it.

i think experience is too much important in trading, if a person has good experience in trading then he can really make good profit from trading, even by investing a very very small amount of bitcoin.

Really true, in the first time, it is hard for us to control emotions for our lose, that's why we are emotional. But later on, when we spend a lot of time, than we realize the real meaning of trading and the way how to trade and than if we get lose than we could manege our emotions, and also we could manege our lose.

I just decompress with breathing and some meditation that I watched on youtube. Cheesy

Seriously you do not get too involved into the whole trading thing or it will make your emotions take control and you will make a fatal move that could cost you alot in the end.

You learn by time. you lose all your money once. some even twice. and than, if you don't give up like most people do, you learned your lesson

This is what you called panic buying, this was most often happen with the newbie like you, of course they don't have deep knowledge yet about in trading so the result in the end their emotion will be the one who control them to dictate to sell their coins. But honestly, in all aspect here must have a self control in terms of our emotion is involved.

Yes, should he has clear rules before entry markets, and calculate the possibilities what will happen in trading activity, and also he must follow his rules of trading that can gives consistent profit from trading.
I think he is not has clearly rules of trading, so he is always panic with change of coinditions of price and losing control in trading.

don't look up , always look down , it was the key for you to make a profit steady even it's small you have to be grateful everytime you won and get profit , then you would handle your greedy to not appear in your mind. look up sometimes could be a motivation , but mostly people gone wild and turn it to greedy , really there's almost no difference between motivated and being greedy it's in the same line.

If you did such mistake once and lose all your money, than to my mins it's better to treat nervious and after that atart trading. Mostly when beginner trader loses, he thinks that if he will put much money, he thinks that in thia situation he will make profit.
Well, at first trading with points is good and after that if you can control yourself, than start trading.
Don't let emotions to control you, you must control emotions.

Yes being ambitious and being greedy are having just hairline differences only. But over gaining experience we will get practice to solve not being greedy while trading.

This is the reason why many new traders are finding hard time with trading, being a trader without getting greedy must be a challenge to your emotion control ability. But if we start winning it, then we can easily find profits from trading. But gaining control over our emotions will not be possible without experience and learning from our mistakes. Shortly, we need to be very much careful while trading.

I'm having hard time to manage my emotions for everything that is happening in my life. And in trading, most of the time I feel frustrated.

Especially when I'm seeing the price of bitcoin is falling that is hurting me that starts me to realize that it's better rather than bitcoin doesn't have value at all.

I just go with the flow and take a deep breath.
