How to run the Ubuntu Server daemon (to host a node)

Make sure your firewall/security settings are allowing port 4004.

sudo apt-get install git

git clone https://github.com/adaseb/PascalLite.git

cd PascalLite

chmod u+x pascalcoin_daemon

screen -S node

./pascalcoin_daemon -r

If you see something similar such as this you are good



To check up on your daemon login to your VPS and do "screen -r node"

About shares timestamp. Double-checked everything. Clocks is set correct. Wallet that is used for mining showing 0 sec difference with network adjusted time.

But i see in logs that some software ignores timestamp updates from the pool and keep sending shares having past timestamps.

Your system time is having big difference with the node that blacklisted you. Don't worry, just correct your clocks and wait for a while. Blacklist's cleaning interval is set to 1 hour.

Personally, i think that things should not go in such a way. But it is inheritance of original Pascal, there are still some places to be changed.

No, timezone don't take an effect. Check, maybe you have turned on daylight saving time option?

I see no chance of having this listed at all if we all go by the same passive approach. What a waste of electricity to all these miners. Better mine pascal coin or other shit that pays for your bill then.

That's the way it is these days. If I told you that this coin will get listed 100% on Poloniex then the difficulty would probably be 100-1000x higher than it is right now.

The difficulty is very low because its not listed anywhere and there is no real value yet for the coin so everybody just mines it for speculation reasons and hoping that they can get lucky.
