if somebody wants to sell some of his chips - iam looking for a total of 100-200 chips - just send my an PM Wink

There are also some group buys that are still open if you want to go that route.

of course... but then i have to wait until 10 weeks from now...
so maybe if somebody ordered to much... need cash... or just want to get profit right now... here i am Wink

I believe that if you change the seller Zefir will put that order to the back of the queue, so it's probably not going to be quite as fast as you think.  At least that's what he indicated to me when I asked.

That's exactly right, since I see it as the only fair method to handle. Chips bought back go into my reserve and should this reserve ever be filled up, I'll sell the remainder from the last batch.

So far, I bought back less than 1k chips, while I sold ~2.5k more than planned. Since I had not a refund request for 2 weeks now, I am not expecting to reach a level where more chips will be available from me.

Please consider joining the still active group buys, even if the chips ordered today might ship a month later than our last batch.

State Update: Sample Chip Owners and Supporters

The status of the assignment of sample chips based on owners' and supporters' claims as of today is as follows:
Code:
Chips assigned:  19210
Chips left    :  36240

Owner          Project           own chips  supporters  total chips   sample chips
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

daemondazz     Caterpillar            50           0           50        0.15

strombom       strombom              650           1          700        2.10

Only around ~35% of chips sold are assigned to a project so far, so please make up your mind during the next weeks and decide who should get your portion of sample chips.

There are quite some projects with zero support so far. You should promote your project and motivate people to give you their portion of sample chips - or if you  realize you can't convince enough supporters to get at least one sample chip to withstand from your request and delegate them to some other project.

Reminder: correct Approach to get Sample Chips

I have been approached by numerous folks asking for more samples than they are entitled for by the chips they paid for. I am really sorry, but there is absolutely no way to make it other than getting support from those who do not need them. Almost two thirds have not yet decided, maybe you can convince some of them to support your project.

Hey zefir,

It's worth pointing out that daemondazz and I are both owners of the Caterpillar project (see link in my sig). Any support (plus our own chip buys) for either of us should go to Caterpillar.

Thanks.

Please allocate my 0.15 samples to stripykitteh, that's probably easiest. Thanks!

Didn't burnin ordered many chips himself, so he would also get quite some dev chips? Don't get me wrong, I'd like to support burnin, I will also send him my chips for assembly, but - Is there any sense in providing more chips to burnin?

I'd like to support another person around my area (germany, switzerland, austria..) who maybe into something.
