Is there any way I could order 56 chips so I can have 256 chips in total? I plan on going with the K64 design and that would make it much easier because as it stands I would have 8 leftover. I have orders in Batch 5 and 7.
Well, I know this will sound unfair to you, but if I say yes here, the next will ask for 58 and then for 60. Therefore, sorry, but no, this is not possible. You either order only 40 for 15 Kondikes in total, or left the 16th populated with only two banks.

My mistake. So my maximum is 30, not 50.
waldohoover;-20;-1.72;1ERmSXMiocN5cMEYFvCGQPKqysMEy29AxY
This will bring my total chip count to 100. (not 120)
Thanks and sorry about that.
Thank you for at least catching yourself. To keep things fair and to lessen the load on zefir, I am now checking all orders for legitimacy. Its easy enough for me to do. Im just skimming accounts April 16-30 looking for a post to this group buy. Orders in question: weaknesswaran (50 chips) - Provided proof of PM payment - Thank You! niner (40 chips) - There is no post in your history proving you can order chips Jimmy2011 (45 chips) - Your history shows you qualify for 30 chips max, not the 45 you ordered I have found 3 people in question so far. They could have ordered through PM only, so I am not saying that they are out quite yet. If you ordered from zefir via PM only, please provide your original sending address and batch # so we can confirm you are an original zefir group buy participant and that you qualify for your exact number of chips. We have had a few mix-ups so far and its unfair to ask zefir to spend all night policing his group buy instead of sleeping. He gave crystal clear directions. I will update this list as necessary. Please don't over buy chips or order chips you don't deserve. You won't get away with it, and your killing us logistically. Thanks everyone. Thanks for trying to help me out, but since almost half of the orders were made over PM, this won't work out well. The 20 chips overpayment for weaknesswaran is already sent back. niner's and Jimmy2011's order are ok, they have the required number of chips in order.

The effort is much appreicated I would be interested in 40 but need a day to get BTC together. Thanks. I'll PM you when its sent. warhawk187;40;3.44;1EusLtExL9UKYYFRBCsxsYmxXpsoCRJBxD

Hi - I ordered 40 chips on April the 21st Post# 219.
I am no longer interested in mining and would like to off load them.
If anyone would like to make an offer I am all ears. Failing any offers would Zefir like to put them back into a pool to sell people who are looking for more?
I also have a BFL 50ghs unit pre-ordered on April 6th which I also no longer want. Order number 100034910

I'll go ahead and delete the post and give up on that idea then. Thanks for doing all this work. I hope you don't have to spend too much time finding and correcting future problems in the buy.

Overpayment was made by waldohoover, not me. Did not receive a payment so it was just the wrong username posted i guess.

Update: Limited Board Completion Order WindowFinally, good news from Avalon : they found some time to look into my tickets and resolved the issue I had with my cancelled 8th batch. They activated it again and it shows up with 'Chips ordered' with 1st of May as order date. Thanks to Avalon support taking so much uncertainty off my shoulders. With that, I am now able to follow the numerous requests from people asking for some more chips to allow them to complete assembly of mining boards that otherwise would only be partially populated with chips. As seen in the auction threads, with the removal of doubts on Avalon's ability to deliver, the chips are already traded over 0.1BTC each. I am not going to profit from this development and keep the original price of 0.086. But I am adding the following terms to ensure that the opportunity is taken for what it was intended (i.e. complete boards) and not for short term profit making: Terms- orders are for the 8th batch of chips, which might get delivered up to 2 weeks after the 1st
- limited volume: 3500 chips
- you can only order if you already bought from me
- the maximum number of chips you might order is
- 50% of the chips you already ordered
- but not more than 50 chips
- only one additional order per user
I believe this is the best way to prevent speculative orders and to favor smaller miners. The order process remains as introduced in the OP, namely: - select your number of chips N (not bound to multiples of 10 this time), max. as given above
- send the total amount (C = N * 0.086) to 162HWpt9njiDsk5nwGixw7fDPuNy55Kh9X
- send only from an address you can sign with (no MtGox, Pool, other services)
- ideally, send from the address you paid your previous orders, so your payment will be automatically assigned to you
- if your wallet does not allow to select sending address
- select one address that was used as input from your payment
- announce it via PM or thread with a single CSV formatted line: <forum nick>;<N>;<C>;<sending address>
This order window will close within a week, more precisely on 2013-06-29T18:00Z (next Saturday, 18:00 UTC). It will end prematurely when the 3500 chips are sold, you can check at any time for remaining chips yourself by ensuring the final balance on that address is below 301 BTC. Please take care to comply with the terms and process introduced. I spent countless sleepless nights fixing invalid orders or answering the always same questions with the initial order processing. The mechanisms are really quite simple and need to be understood by anyone who seriously operates in the Bitcoin world (like what does it mean to be able to sign with an address). Cheers Please read this, And thanks zefir for the opportunity here! regards

I'll take them all (100)! Patience. I have been asked this all over again and there is a queue of folks that need some more chips to get their mining boards fully populated. I will have some more chips to offer shortly, preparing an official announcement soon. OK,I dug around and saw this, so better share to everyone else that its unlikely zefir will let us just pickup refunded chips.
