Sorry if this has been covered.. but are there any sample chips still available?
I have ordered 700 chips - which I'll be getting assembled with burnin, but I've recently become aware of a group here in Sydney with access to PCB manufacturing facilities, pick & place machine etc who are trying to get a project going.

You missed a lot. The relevant links are all posted in the OP's status update section.

To make it short, please read post #855 above and provide me the shipping address for the 2 sample chips that you are entitled for. They will be sent as soon as they get delivered.

Hello!

This might be in the thread but i don't have time to go through all 44 pages.
I have 50 chips in bach #1 and I wonder if it's possible to sell them. do to some circumstances I'm not able to mount the chips and mine later.

How do I do when I want to sell the chips?

Hi - I ordered 40 chips on April the 21st Post# 219.

I am no longer interested in mining and would like to off load them.

If anyone would like to make an offer I am all ears. Failing any offers would Zefir like to put them back into a pool to sell people who are looking for more?

I also have a BFL 50ghs unit pre-ordered on April 6th which I also no longer want. Order number 100034910

Please check this post on refund / after-sales policy for the chips.

Hi fruitrunner,

Check out this reverse auction for Zefir batch chips:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242799.0

Starting price is .172 BTC per chip
which would double your initial investment.
As well it is backed with escrow(paid by ASICME.COM) done by John K
and they cover the shipping and handling fees.
FYI I have no affiliation with ASICME.COM

If I was able to help you in anyway, tips are appreciated:

only one additional order per user

You have missed one of the basic rules of the group buy here. He also requested you send payments from the same address. By doing it this way you just made more unnecessary work for zefir as he has pointed out before in this thread. Im sure this was an honest mistake/oversight but I wanted to point it out to keep it from happening again here.

Thanks Exoskeleton for pointing it out. I posted the rules for a good reason: every order will have to be claimed individually, i.e. you'll need to address sign to prove ownership. If someone had 10 orders with 10 different sending addresses, that will cost him some effort to handle (as it does for me).

BTW, I PMd you for a feedback on sample chips but did not get response so far. Could you please double check?

Update: more Sample Chips received and distributed

Today I received sample chips for the next batches and sent out
  • burnin: 18
  • 4 chips to: flyonwall, jcp, marto74
  • 3 chips to: weaknesswaran, rgzen, julz
  • stripykitteh: 2

With that, the samples to be distributed based on delegated chips is almost done and looks like follows:
Code:
Owner          |Project          |sample chips|      Sent   | Left

BkkCoins       |Klondike         |        7.17|       17    |   0

stripykitteh   |Caterpillar      |        1.35|        2    |   0
strombom       |strombom         |        2.10|             |  (0)
weaknesswaran  |weaknesswaran    |        3.00|        3    |   0
Exoskeleton    |Exoskeleton      |        0.51|             |   1
alle.sello     |alle.sello       |        0.60|             |   1
bitmine.ch     |Avalon Clone     |        1.05|             |   1

The three left users registered as owner did not yet reply whether they still need their samples.

As with the first delivery, I paid around 40 CHF per package for S&H. As soon as you receive the package, you please either
  • sent me 0.4BTC to the common address for S&H collection: 184g4gAJqtM1BTDmDwRPB4AokXbqtZ2wnG
  • or if you do not have the coins at hand, post in this thread that you received them and want to take them as donation

Happy testing

Its a bit too late in the game for me to branch out on my own. I will be using the services of an established assembler instead. I will no longer need my test chip because of this.

Zefir, was there an indication of what batches the two lots of samples were allocated to?  I just ask because I wondered if this will also be an indication as to which batches Avalon will send together.

Thx
