There will be a public test net, but they haven't announced the date. They prolonged the development phase because of recent events (BTC-E fall, numerous ICO’s scamming) and that caused some shift in the deadlines. It's better to preapare it more rather than throw some date and missed it later.

My advice don't buy any bounty account for now. Just wait until EON listed on market and you can buy as many as you want. The reason is, after they sold their account to you, they could get it back by send an email to excudo dev if they need to change the email in that account and you can't access the bounty

You must be a sooth sayer, this token will be one of the most successful project in the space, do not forget that there will be a masternodes setup when the platform is on and will make most of the tokens to be locked up.
