Ignoring people because they have different opinions than yours is the reason you holders are losing money every day, while people like me who are able to consider other peoples points of view cut their losses long ago.

I'll be listening for the butthurt to ratchet up a notch once we get sub 300. Shouldn't be long now. This train is off the rails.

It's impossible to lose money if you don't sell.

They already cut there losses, thats why they are so defencive. If you keep going at it, you can push every single one of them into a corner and they all squeal like a pig, admitting defeat and confessing that they lost money. Now they are just hoping to buy back lower.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Bitcoin is great and all, but my biggest mistake is finding this thread.
All that endless yapping from the trolls with some sort of Messiah complex, trying to save us poor souls. Some of them even having a "Academic" complex.

Yawn.

Personally, I appreciate Jorge's analysis, and encourage him to continue it. If you don't like it, put him on ignore and leave it at that.

Not a big fan of the "Ignore" button, I like to read the good and the bad, and comment as I wish!

I'd say you seem easily baited and would do well with the ignore button, but hey, it's your sanity, not mine, and that's just, like, my opinion, man. The more important part for me is pointing out that you can't throw Jorge in with the DOOMnoDOOMDOOMotherDOOMDOOMcontentDOOMDOOMDOOM trolls.

Oh, he could be trolling, setting the forum up for "DICKS EVERYWHERE" or whatever in about 6 months, for sure, just like anyone on here could. But if he is, he is certainly putting in a lot more effort than I've ever seen a troll put in, anywhere. Those 4 paragraph analyses don't grow on trees, and anyone who is setting up a forum for years usually goes with the status quo before striking so as not to arouse suspicion (so he would be a bull). Which means even if he is ultimately a troll, I would doubt it's a long-con setup scenario.

It's impossible to lose money if you don't sell.

That argument is usually used by gamblers. Even if you don't sell, what matters is how much that bitcoins are worth now compared when you bought. So if you bought higher you are losing money. The past is over and you don't know what will happen in the future, the only thing that counts is the present.

Technically not selling is the same than buying (ignoring fees, etc). So if you invested $1,000 and it is now worth $500 and you decide to keep invested, would be the same than if you have $500, no bitcoins, and you decide to buy.
That's all.

Yes. It's called unrealized loss.

You really need to lighten up  Cheesy You are in the "Troll Observer" thread here. You'll need to learn to take everything with a pich of salt. Otherwise it's going to be you ending up in the nutt house.   Grin

Gut feeling is that there's going to be a big movement upward in the next few days. I don't expect it to drop much lower from these levels.

watching your posts lately really hurt my eyes, the level of writing doesn't really reflect posts from a PHD holder (as you claim).... especially a computer science one, when the most thing that profession relay on is the things that you seem to be missing (math+logic).

I agree with you, except also, that I was thinking the same thing when it was bumping along at $385

I think this is true, at least I hope so.  My husband was threatening to sell some again. He always does that when it is low though.  I think one of his "super-powers" is an uncanny desire to buy high and sell low!   Cheesy  Of course, the only reason we are well into the green is that we have managed to hold long enough.  Hopefully he has just a little more patience before he gives up this time.  Once the price rebounds he will decide to buy and not sell any again.   Undecided

Even if a small pump happens, then what? Miners, merchants and bitcoiners giving up (or cashing out at their breakeven point) will lead to more slow bleeding until market sentiment changes. And sentiments don't change from one day to another, it needs time for consolidation which we still didn't have (or a miracle).

IG Launched Flexible Bitcoin Trading
http://www.ig.com/au/bitcoin-btc

That is not bitcoin trading, in fact it does not use bitcoin at all.  It seems to be just a glorified gambling site, where one can bet on bitcoin price swings using ordinary money.
