Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Man I'm going to miss these days after a few months when bitcoin going under $10k again will look like a totally impossible thing.  Bitcoin dominance went as low as exact 37.00% today. Now back up to 38%+. Let's see if it can cross 40% again soon. I'm expecting alts to bleed more and bitcoin to stabilize at at-least $10,000, bringing up the dominance of bitcoin. |

Whoever's awake, looks like a small sell off is going on right now. Should stop around 9-9.2k?
Alts dumping hard. Im happy to watch mine bleed out as long as btrash dumps harder though. Its more exciting watching that crap go down than watching BTC go up. Welcome, wise Newbie.
