A thought om demographics. Why did people use to have a lot of kids? Because people died a lot. Most of them before they could go on to have their own kids. This means that the strongest, the smartest and the healthiest went on to produce the following generations while the weakest did not. This is the process by which we went from banging two rocks together to produce a sharper rock, to communicating through magical glowing rocks around the world in real time.
Let us assume the following, for the sake of illustration:
The historical norm has been that 50% of the population died before they could procreate. Today it is maybe less than 1%. Let's say a clean 0%.
If we go from the historical norm to todays standard, then in one generation half the population would be dysgenic (which my spellcheck does not consider an actual word, what the fuck?). Meaning in this case, they are worse than the previous generation. In physical strength, intelligence, immune system, morally, in every way.
Another generation goes by and only 25% of the population is of the original quality.
After three generations, 12.5%. And so on.
In reality the process is more gradual and takes longer, but it all amounts to the same thing in the end. People are different. Humans are not equal. We are not even born equal, simply due to genetics. What this all means is that without some method to kill the weak members of the human specie, we regress. Humans today are on average dumber, weaker, more cowardly and unhealthier than ever before since probably the end of the roman empire.
It has been 3-4 generations since the last major dieoff, since the war. Life has never been easier and safer. And we are on the brink of a collapse. Financially, as many of us know, but also in every other way. And this is the method by which it happens.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that this campaign will close its doors this week. From this coming Friday the FJ campaign will no longer be active and no participants will take part moving forward. ...
... Not sure why but in the last few days I really wanted to keep a Vegeta avatar and some stupid anime signature. I'll finally be able to do that! I'm probably going to take a little rest from campaigns and won't be finding a new campaign anytime soon. ... Another Vegeta coming to the WO.

Alright I am annoyed and saddened and really fucking tired. Also down to just one merit, but I will give it to the best youngster, newbie or kid who can write a decent - short will do fine - riposte to the kindergarten shit that is happening over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5248291.msg54499261#msg54499261Of course I have sympathy for our fallen ex-member mindrust who has gone back 5 years in his understanding of bitcoin, but please do your best to put cobra at least in his place, the beginners and help section. Oh shit this is pathetic. Bitcoin HODLer turning into a shitcoin shill.

Good afternoon Bitcoinland. Trying to get back over $9k I see... currently $8961USD/$12533CAD (Bitcoinaverage). This could take some time. It will probably be a bit of a wait for $10k. I consider Italian cuisine as the best tasting food in the world.
Second best (for me) is Middle Eastern cuisine.
On the other side of the scale, the absolute worst has got to be English cuisine. Italian food is OK and certainly much better than English, German or most American, but I wouldn't rank it near the top. IMHO, it can't hold a candle to French (the best food in the world), Hungarian, Thai, Mexican, Greek, Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, or even some regional North American cuisines like Cajun or Quebecois. To each their own, I suppose.

Look, I can kind of understand why BCH has some support. I think it's stupid, but I can see it.
But why the fuck would anyone continue to think faktoshi and BSV has any validity what-so-ever. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about. He had to plagiarise his phD, despite going to pretty much the worst University in Australia. He has been caught lying 987,392 987,393 times. He is a state loving boot licker. WTF is going on in these people's heads.
BSV is closer to old school, pre-segwit Bitcoin than BCH, aside from blocksize. BSV has an unlimited blocksize, while BCH is limited to 8mb blocks. Out of the two I'd prefer BSV. Higher resources = lower decentralization Unlimited blocksize = unlimited resources We hold these truths to be self-evident! For those that don't

thats a simple statement, while almost all simple statements turn out to be false. Brazil got quite a number of gunshot kills per 100.000 nationals. Too low for Nutsonaro? Gunshot kills made by criminals to unarmed citizens who can't defend themselves, That's what he is changing. If you know that you might get shot yourself if you shoot someone, you just might think twice before you shoot. If good people have guns, bad people will hesitate to shoot them = fewer gun kills, how is that so hard for the stupid left to understand. Sir, the underlying problems are lack of education and empathy. Guns only scrape the surface, bullets don't decide between good or bad. How can guns stop madness? It's not impossible. They never did. The "bad" don't think twice, and there are not many more dangerous things than "good" people with guns. The "good" german people also just only wanted the best for themselves, which they thought (or became taught) is the best for all. And we all know in what a nightmare this was turning. Now, one of the mistakes in understanding is through not having to experience this kind of nightmare, so i just refer to the "lack of empathy" aspect i mentioned earlier, because education can't be the main problem here, don't you agree? And well, there ARE stupid leftists, as well as stupid rightists. Remember the bell curve? I'd try to be like in the middle in this regards.

The joy of the 'clever' trader for his successful 10% cut loss from his initial stash was somewhat marred when he realized it was the 10th in a row. Let's say starting with 1 BTC.. that would NOT be a 100% loss in the value from the initial stash. Rather the final amount of the stash would be a bit more than a 65% loss from the initial stash. Cut and pasted from my creation of a quickie Excel spreadsheet causes the pyramid of devaluation of the stash to look like this: 1 BTC 1 0.9 2 0.81 3 0.729 4 0.6561 5 0.59049 6 0.531441 7 0.4782969 8 0.43046721 9 0.387420489 10 0.34867844 BTC Surely, I would not be advocating any practice that results in continuous losses, so let's turn the scenario into a positive rather than a negative... let's say that instead of losing 10% on each trade, you are not greedy and you figure out a way to gain .1% on each trade.. after taxes and trading fees. Of course, figuring out ways to profit are structural and depend upon how you value the wealth - whether you are stacking sats or stacking dollars and surely in bitcoin whenever you sell any BTC you have to be willing to let that BTC go.. because they price might never come back to that sales price... which means overstacking in BTC so that you are actually willing to sell it at prices that are lower than future prices. Anyhow, because of the modesty in any plan, it takes a long time to gain value.. and if you stack for .1% profits in each trade, then after 10 trades you gain just a bit more than 1% on your trading stash... 1 BTC 1 1.001 2 1.002001 3 1.003003001 4 1.004006004 5 1.00501001 6 1.00601502 7 1.007021035 8 1.008028056 9 1.009036084 10 1.01004512 BTC Losses are not guaranteed and gains are not guaranteed, and personally I consider the trading of BTC to be insurance rather than measurable and meaningful gains, so on a personal level, I am not really pursuing the gains.. the gains are very modest in the whole scheme of things and are a kind of side benefit... and of course, there tend to be several third party risks that come with any kind of trading, too... so surely, no walk in the park for anyone to be playing around with trading. Either you didn't read carefully, or I didn't explain it clearer. What I mean't is that with each trade he lost 10% of the initial fiat stash, not of the last balance. 10x10%=100% or 20x5%, it doesn't matter. Trading by simple following the trend is always disastrous especially using leverage. I think someone posted here a link to a similar sad story.

Before the pandemic, I had two areas of the world in mind for future living. Eastern europe was one area. But they obviously still have communist tendencies considering their lockdown measures. Still gonna visit, but it's looking increasingly like south america is the only viable place for normal people to retreat to while the nearly global communist collapse is underway.

It also depends on your mood (hot 'n' spicy vs. more mild tastes). I only tried the goulash dish when I spent a day in Prague a couple of years ago, which was delicious. I also like some (just a few) of the Chinese dishes. About French cuisine, I haven't tried much, I have the (probably wrong) impression that the portions are really small and it's all about style, looks, and accompanying wine, than it is about the actual food. Reading your comment, I will certainly give it a thorough test (taste?) drive the next time we go out dining. To each their own, that's true, especially when it comes to food...

The problem with that is, that the real idiots are all locked up inside.
Life must be great then. It is, it was, it will be, yes. I believe in correcting myself when in error. This is very important.
Good, me too, so correct this then: You disagree with my statement that I have a limited supply of cartridges? That's odd.
Indeed odd, but only because you missed the point. I disagreed on the JJJJJJJ quote that you so agreed on: Would be nice, if at least, systems were put in place so that regular people could get decent personal protective equipment such as n95 masks, but it is crazy that we are several months into this matter and still have not figured out how to make and adequately distribute n95 masks to regular people or even test kits to professional facilities get some priorities straight..
JJJJJJJ crap. Focus. I like the #stayalive and #stayincontrol thing, my life is the most precious asset in the universe to me, and I will not sacrifice it to a God, Political party, or ideology. I'll trust facts, vetted by authoritative sources. Science, Nature, JAMA, and the like would be authoritative based on Impact score. Google+some shit poster on YouTube... less authoritative.
Yeah, the most precious asset to me, is my freedom to wander about this Earth. BTW, you are not in control, and barely alive without your freedom. Sure there is. The goal is to either have it die out in the wild before I get it (see SARS, MERS, and the like where governments actually DID SOMETHING) or get it as late as possible to take advantage of the best medical information at the time. Couple of months ago I would have been shoved on a ventilator to die in agony. Two months ago I would be pumped full of that Trump shilled shit to make money for one of his friends. Last month I would have been injected with bleach.....
Thanks, but no.
Got news for you bro. The US is not the whole world bro. But yeah ... thanks, but no.

Our Dear Leader has been pretty quiet of late, seemingly just ticking over with the advert auctions. Yes I mean theymos. I'm not worried or anything like that, in fact I guess he is concocting something like a revamped merit system. Any guesses or inside knowledge? Perhaps he was just busy laboriously signing all those messages calling Craig a cunt or whatever that was.
