I read this name mindrust a lot, can someone remind me who that was ??
JJG perhaps??
There once was a coiner, whose name was mindrust, He posted in WO, and gained our trust. But little did he know, He would suffer a blow, When he did the unthinkable, and sold all his stash! Even r0ach would agree that this move was quite baffling, It's Bitcoin 101, you just don't sell pre-Halving. But his mind was all rusted, It was Masterluc he trusted, So he blindly followed his all-bearish rumbling! He blames COVID-19 for his panic reaction, "Armageddon is coming, I just had to take action." Now his Bitcoins are sold, He is turning to gold, In a desperate attempt to get some satisfaction. Many WO'ers advised him to buy back some corn, But he just couldn't live with the thought of being wrong. Now he hears of Bitcoin, And gets a pain in his groin, Because deep down he knows, that his chance is now gone! I know that those limericks are shitty as hell, And I know that Jimbo's shit, as everyone's, smell. I just hope that they serve, To help us all keep our nerve, And never ever give in to the pressure to sell! And if all of the above hasn't made you, mindrust, Reconsider, and quickly get some corn in your stash, It won't be r0aches or ants, At the seat of your pants, But the boot of a HoDLer kicking your stubborn fat ass! Well that's fucking awesome

Remember when $10 pumps were big. Then, Gox times and 2014 ATH $100 pumps were huge. Now its $1k pumps that seem huge. Whats after next ATH? $10k pumps in one day? That would mean if you own 10 BTC and sell perfectly on top and buy on the lowest, you could make $100k a day in a perfect scenario Yes... I member that there were increases in the amounts of BTC price swings that ere a BIG deal.. I am pretty sure when I first started trading BTC and practicing my laddering, I had orders that were only $5 apart... The price was in the $200s and $300s, so yeah, each order was triggered by $5 movements in price, which actually was not even easy to reach, sometimes. In any event, of course, the numbers get BIGGER with the increase in BTC price, and of course, we are likely to make much better decisions if we consider the significance of BTC price moves in terms of percentages rather than dollar amounts, even though when we are caught in any particular BTC price range it is usually easier to think in terms of dollar amounts rather than percentages. Also, don't be selling all your BTC merely because BTC prices move a wee $10k in a day...!!!!! .... Contemplate a more reasonable plan!!!!!

So...in my dream I was in prison. I was having a meeting with Torque, as the two baddest dudes in the joint it was important that we have an understanding.
This was after I beat two guards to unconsciousness while holding my breath against the knock-out gas they had flooded the chamber with when they saw me rip a length of handrail off its stanchions. It was important to get off on a good foot and earn some respect.
Oh gawd!!!!!

What's a port scan?
HTTP port is 80 Email or SMTP is 25 https://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/portnumbers.asphttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbersTheres a whole list but the main point would be as you are a viewer on the net not a web server or an email server so any port you use is specific time limited not open, why would traffic be coming to you without request so you dont want open ports like open doors. You only open a port like you open the front door, hence the idea of shieldsup is check you are not leaving yourself open to be a server. The biggest or most common danger where this occurs is people on the net via cable, it can be very poor security or at least used to be and strangers will scan your machine and retrieve files etc. Shouldn't happen nowadays but thats the most frequent occurrence historically, nowadays they'll attack via phishing etc which is an attempt to convince you to grant them permission of some kind. If you google iobit and use that software you shouldn't find its any trouble to it, not going to argue whose best but they arent the worst and it uninstalls when you ask which can be right after 1 free use. Most home connections involve a router (with NAT/PAT) which by default blocks all incoming connections to all ports. So they're not concerned in what's reachable from the internet as much as what services you have running on your PC (the timing part is just a technique to identify open vs closed ports). Essentially, when you open goldman's site they can check if you're running a bitcoin node and if you do display a page of a middle finger rather than a log in page. Browsers should probably push an update ASAP to disallow websockets to local host by default.

I think all the bear trolling and attempts at scamming around Bitcoin is super weird. Go to any Precious Metals web forum and you never see bugs talking about TA charts, elliott waves, when to buy, when to sell, trying to call bottoms/tops, blah blah blah.
Interesting observation. Gold bugs are more at the preserving wealth stage. Coiners largely at the earlier hustling-to-get-wealth stage. The majority of the bugs I've seen on PM forums are self-admitted millennial age range, which blows a large hole in your statement. Unless you mean crypto tarders... who are in the hustling-to-go-broke stage.

This graph is staggering: I'm not a commie, but there's no way we can have any semblance of stability on any level with this kind of inequality. No need to worry. Corona Virus might be able to help in evening things out.. There won't hardly be no boomers left, so how would they be able to have any wealth... ?

This is, in my opinion, one of the more likely reasons these coins would have moved. The person making these waves and taking this opsec risk HAS to have a good reason to do it. And if that *is* the reason, then i for one applaud them. Unlikely, if it was a jab at Faketoshi a much better solution would be to just sign "Faketoshi going bankrupt in 3..2.." message (which i still hope they'd do) Is it Christmas already? It's as if the person that signed the message reads WO Said simply, Wright represented these 145 addresses were part of his bitcoin holdings and were locked in an inaccessible encrypted file. This week, the person that actually controls the private keys to those addresses used those private keys to declare that “Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud” and “doesn't have the keys” for those addresses — thus proving the addresses do not belong to Wright. https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flsd.521536/gov.uscourts.flsd.521536.541.0.pdf3. At counsel’s request, I analyzed the message, bitcoin addresses, and digital signatures; I then compared the 145 bitcoin addresses on Exhibit A to the CSW Filed List. My analysis revealed that: a) All 145 bitcoin addresses in Exhibit A were claimed by the Defendant on the CSW Filed List; b) All 145 signatures on Exhibit A were valid digital signatures that had signed the message in ¶2 above by using the private key corresponding to the respective bitcoin address (the only way to generate such a signature). -Andreas https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flsd.521536/gov.uscourts.flsd.521536.541.1.pdfBravo to that early miner that doxxed his BTC7250 (~$75MM) stash to put a final nail in Faketoshi's coffin. BSv- screwed by Faketoshi's shenanigans finally catching up with them Bcash- screwed by bitmain loosing their profits after the halving One has some brain cells and the other lots of cash. Their last desperate option is to reverse split back to one coin.

We cannot forget mindrust... because many of us are capable of acting upon such level of dumb... anyhow, he is like snowball in Animal Farm... have you heard about Animal Farm.. it's a pretty decent book, and not too long nor difficult to read, either. I read this name mindrust a lot, can someone remind me who that was ??
JJG perhaps??
A limp wrist who sold his bitcoins. That's another way of saying it. I read this name mindrust a lot, can someone remind me who that was ??
JJG perhaps??
Funny thing, perhaps what you say you are you become If I understand you correctly, then we have to remember mindrust so we don't become him... so maybe I am saying the opposite that you are saying, Globb0? Note: Even better said... AlcoHoDLPro tip... If you enjoy seeing an endless number of posts with your username mentioned, simply announce in here that you sold all your coins.
Exactly!!!!!!!!! And, if you are self-righteous or arrogant about it, then you better watch ur lil selfie.

Newest Update from Masterluc/Pentarudi "All right, price doesn't respect short term trend line. I see it likes triangles now. Okay. Hit or miss. Resolution is close." If he keeps trying, sooner or later, the chart will actually start to become true.. but until then....Masterluc (our true savior and sorcerer) has been having a pretty BIG tendency to be quite wrong in recent times (like the last few years... hahahahaha). It's very hard to keep a social distance when trying to commune with someone. never seen this kind of restaurant 'attire' around here, lol. she does look chilly. needs a good warming up And, business has probably been slow, recently, too. Poor lil tingilie (referring to the chick)!!!!

grudging respect for that old bird and her hired goons, moreso if the Kiwis agree with her actions. btw did she ever get any of their guns off them? (answer cmiiw is 'a few') ... it's not all smiley, sweet and light in NZ and the 'world' only gets the view that the global progressive media choose to portray. She has totally trashed the NZ economy to achieve it with a ridiculously harsh lockdown for over 6 weeks and doled out 20% of GDP on no-questions-asked payments to her voting bloc (twice as much corona-chan rescue spending per capita GDP as other countries), in an election year. NZ govt. debt levels have skyrocketed and now set back ~30 years of frugality in less than 3 months. It's has been an orgy of gubmint spending for people to basically sit on the couch. GDP is expectd to contract by ~20-30% for the affected quarter. https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/300023771/new-zealands-big-bill-for-lockdown-we-didnt-need... the hangover will be long and painful, NZ is now one of the most indebted to foreigners per capita countries in the world.

Bitcoin is not a currency or asset. Its a MOVEMENT
|
in the past I have seen posts where people discussed the need to declare value if bitcoin you carry too. Still, it's unclear whenever we cross-border, if we have bitcoin that needs to be declared. Because even if it's not a hardware wallet, I control my bitcoin through phone or basic internet. Similarly, I control fiat also through my phone in bank accounts or credit/debit cards of multiple countries. So I don't think Bitcoin needs to be declared when you cross the boarder.

Is there any Goku/Vegeta related cap around that no one owns anymore? I'd love to wear one from now on.
No vegetasss hmzzzz I swear imma find a way to cut a bitch over the internet... Enough with the Vegeta's already. I agree. We need a new meme. I might be able to hook you up but the cost has increased exponentially. Wow! It seems like Vegeta is losing respect in here. I'd love to have a hat of Legendary Broly then; however, get it done only if you've free time. If you're not free, I'll try to design one myself (though I must admit that I'm no longer very good with Photoshop anymore). Today was my only day off work this week and I ran out of time but I did manage to find a previous over 9k hat that isn't in use at the moment. avatar sized

I would argue this is the case also. Since the bitcoins reside on the blockchain of which a copy is kept in nearly every country in the world so technically all bitcoins in existence have crossed all (most?) the borders already. Or put simply, bitcoin blockchains exist in all countries with full bitcoin nodes simultaneously already so all bitcoins exist in all countries with bitcoin full nodes already and technically do not cross borders, but blockchain updates do every block. The keys crossing borders is neither here nor there since they can be sent electronically or as a word sequence in an email for example. Private keys only confer the right to transfer coins on the blockchain and are not the asset in and of themselves, but more like banking login credentials/authentication/passwords.
