That's awesome. I've been thinking for awhile I wanted to get a few hardware wallets and pre-load with a small amount of coin for some of my relatives. I think they'd appreciate it but I'm not sure I want to sign up to be their personal IT guy every time they want a transaction. I then think if I take all the risk and it works out I'll just share, but then they won't benefit from actually learning about it. |

I am not promoting the givebitcoin.io website, but they do seem credible and to have a decent process in place that does strive to help with the onboarding of newbies... and even attempt to educate them before their bitcoins are fully released to the newbie. You can set the time frame for the release up to a year, and so you can set whatever amount of BTC that you want to give to whichever relative or friend.. whether that is .001BTC or 1 BTC or any other amount. https://givebitcoin.io/ |
