That's awesome. I've been thinking for awhile I wanted to get a few hardware wallets and pre-load with a small amount of coin for some of my relatives. I think they'd appreciate it but I'm not sure I want to sign up to be their personal IT guy every time they want a transaction. I then think if I take all the risk and it works out I'll just share, but then they won't benefit from actually learning about it.

I am not promoting the givebitcoin.io website, but they do seem credible and to have a decent process in place that does strive to help with the onboarding of newbies... and even attempt to educate them before their bitcoins are fully released to the newbie.  You can set the time frame for the release up to a year, and so you can set whatever amount of BTC that you want to give to whichever relative or friend.. whether that is .001BTC or 1 BTC or any other amount.

So, I got a letter in my mailbox, handwritten, no stamp, obviously delivered by hand, from someone called Mona.
I open it and it starts "My name is Mona, I'm one of Jehovas witnesses in Malmö.
Considering the current situation I choose to write to you instead of visiting you in person..."

Bloody hel, even Jehovas is doing social distancing.

 Thanks a lot.  Now I have a song stuck in my head.

What song? My Name Is Luka?

Fuck, THANKS A LOT!  Angry
How the hell should i get Suzanne Vega out of my head now???

Looks like a job for dear old Thunderstruck...

fewer blocks, fewer coins

John has less coin than Jack.
John has less luck than Jack.

John has fewer coins than Jack.
John has fewer chances than Jack.

It's important, because um, well you know

Goldman Sachs is asshoe!

Anyway, I think their anti-BTC presentation was them talking their book. They're probably still trying to load up on BTC at the tail end of this accumulation period.

If you guys want to see exactly that GS said during their shitty conf call, fillippone did the dirty work for you:

Re: @GoldmanSachs:“Implications of Current Policies for Inflation, Gold and Bitcoin".

Of course I am pretty disappointed by this conference. Also the previous part was so disappointingly cheap. Not the kind of analysis one would expect from a tier-1 bank.

Thermopylae by Constantine P. Cavafy

Honour to those who in their lives
are committed and guard their Thermopylae.
Never stirring from duty;
just and upright in all their deeds,
but with pity and compassion too;
generous whenever they are rich, and when
they are poor, again a little generous,
again helping as much as they are able;
always speaking the truth,
but without rancor for those who lie.

And they merit greater honor
when they foresee (and many do foresee)
that Ephialtes will finally appear,
and in the end the Medes will go through.
