We have a situation now with one or more powerful buyers repeatedly hammering the MtGox asks. People see the solidly rising trend and panic buys from time to time, but we hardly correct, it is sideways for a few hours then upwards again like a marathon runner.

tl;dr extremely bullish situation. New ATH in 24h?

Give it a few more days but next week looking a distinct possibility.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Ahhh. I understand.

Just get a lambo and put a btc sticker on it. Muuuch better than a tshirt. 6 to 8 months maybe everyone here can buy lambos.

That would be a bit earlier... Wink

not when wall street fianly can get money into the system and btc goes to the min $40,000

i assume most people here have at least 5 btc.

Wednesday :/
But I will have 10. Maybe even 12.

I know... I explained this to my wife... She still wants (and thus got lots of) bling.

But I kind of understand it, large diamonds to a girl is more or less what a high end super car, or a super model GF is to a guy.

And in the end we know we have to keep the girls happy so we buy the silly rocks...

Nothing wrong with a little bling (though it's not my style) but diamonds are another matter. My wife knows point blank that she isn't getting any (a few tiny ones as accents is fine but they may as well be cubic zirconia in my book). I think other stones look a lot nicer and are (much) better value.

But to each their own Smiley

I agree whole hardly if we break 1000 without a sweat, but I am semi certain we see people sell shy of it at 975-999 thinking they'll be smarter then the next person.

Perhaps the words could be hidden in the design somehow. Make the T look all respectable but then if you look at the shape of the smoke or something?

I got more than 5 but I need at least 15 to buy a Lambo in Turkey. You can't believe tax percentages here. Cheesy (They increased to %145 private consumption tax this year, also we have %18 VAT)

i like this chart!   thanks

If nothing changes we should have a new ATH on 22.01.14.

https://www.tradingview.com/e/eBL7nAJN/

BTW. This chart is not made by me.

Are you serious? Just deforming a chart to be able to draw a straight line does not mean that this line is useful in any sense.

it is very useful for me! brb going to go troll some other websites!

"Holy fuck that chart makes sense actually, might be the reason china is racing to 5k today"

and you doubted that chart and my ability to troll with it!   http://boards.4chan.org/g/res/39316850    Grin

lulz, that is epic. I'd love to reply with the "sad bear that missed the train" pic there but I don't know how to 4chan...

oh Turkey has nothing on Thailand!  like 10,000% or higher... its nuts!

i always assumed people that can afford them, found ways to navigate those ridiculous taxes- at least to some extent. by like bribing the right people...

true or false?

I agree, honestly blue sapphires with small diamonds to accent it is what i find to be the best. but she wanted a big ass ugly diamond accented by smaller but still large and ugly diamonds.

Heh, when BTC gets to 40k, I might cave just once. My wife understands the diamond thing but some of her friends have large-ish rocks and peer pressure and all...

yes, until the political party changes, or the new police guy comes in and needs to pay for his job.

lots of people get them and then lose them after a few years even with bribes.

yeah, that is what happened here. i told her no more, lol.   even if i get 10 more crazy cars no more silly diamonds.

just buy em at auctions... for something closer to the real (pretty looking) price

mini-poll:

How long will it take for bitstamp to break through that wall at 830?

I get quite nervous when I see flat tops and bottoms periods on these chart thingys.

Having so much fun, didn't even notice that 830 is long gone now. (looks like it lasted about 8 hours)

That has nothing to do with trolling. Just wait a week and you can draw another line. But if you think this chart helps you, that is ok. I don't need this chart to see an upward trend.

tell me more about these auctions.  Huh

I am talking a bit out of my ass but, I've watched some random reality based auction shows on tv. However I am almost certain you can buy them for much less than their appraised value.. which I am sure is less than what most resellers or jewelry stores sell em for.

I assume you just need to find some old rich no family estate sales lol
