I had a quick look about the forums but didn't find one: is there a thread to post pics of things you've bought with Bitcoin?

Make one!

Missed this one ... Victoria's Secret now in the market for bitcoins ... always fun when the chicks show up for the money!

Quote
Victoria’s Secret Stores LLC has signed up with Gyft, an app that lets users buy gift cards with Bitcoins.

Hopefully BitChicksHusband doesn't see this.  I like wearing my sweats just fine.  But I guess if the price is right I might buy something that is only worn for a few seconds. Wink

the whole point of that stuff is to take it off  Cheesy

I am more logical than most females- that and very frugal!  Wink  For all you guys out there with women that love to spend money maybe there is some good in that after all if they like "wasting" it on clothing only worn for a few seconds!  Grin

If you're only wearing it for a few seconds you're not doing it right. Wink

perfect for bears Smiley

That's open to interpretation.

One of the best things I did was buy my BFL ASICs with fiat instead of bitcoins last February.
But was it better than buying btc with that fiat?

The answer is of course NO.

* macsga has an SC60 hashing on BTCguild.
Chances are it produces less than what it spends by now. Bought it 30BTC (preorder buy) and gave me back so far 9.5... fair deal eh? Grin

Anyone else having a hard time keeping up with all of the latest developments?

By the way, another runup in price so close after the previous "bubble" would be crazy!
But hey: "madness?  This is BITCOIN !".

Yep. I'm getting like 0.03BTC per day. I'm thinking turning it to PPC mining though.

I hope we bounce between 900+ and 1000+ a few houndred times more. So that everyone is bored reaching 1000,00$ and stops selling. After this we can rise calmly.

At that time I was having trouble finding a source of bitcoins. I'd only discovered Bitcoin about a year ago and wasted a month doing intensive research (starting with Satoshi's white paper) trying to figure out what the scam was. By the time I realized that not only was it not a scam, but historic, game-changing disruptive technology, the price had risen from $15 to $30.

I wasted a week putting fiat in my Paypal account without thinking that of course Paypal would have nothing to do with Bitcoin, but I was pleasantly surprised that BFL accepted Paypal, so I got my pre-order in ASAP and set about trying to find a source of bitcoins that wasn't a ripoff like most Localbitcoins dealers.

By the time I discovered Virtex, the price was up to $68. Paying quadruple was soon forgotten as the price exploded. Now even $68 seems so cheap. Live and learn. Some day we'll all brag about buying whole bitcoins for less than $1000 each.

You're right. This would be a big deal ;-)

Better I had written: Bouncing between 995,00$ and 1005,00$.

This would stop: " UHHH ZOMMFFFG!! 1000,00$ FOR my Bitcoin!! 4d1g1ts! I will press the S3ll-IT-ALL-Button!!"
