Tx. And which exchange this other fund is included on? Less hype and more info would be very nice in these news.
Shares of the SM BIT fund will be traded through brokers, and their price will be listed on the OTCQX index site. (I understand that such trading still has not been approved; they only got a temporary ticker symbol (BITV) at OTCQX, to be replaced by GBIT later. Just as the Winkles got their ticker symbol (COIN) but no SEC approval yet. Correct?)

Jorge: "Nobody who has heard of Bitcoin and holds USD thinks it is worth more than $250".
Me: "Wrong. Someone might value it at $300, but still refrain from buying the amount he wants to buy now, because he expects to be able to get a better price by spreading out his bids".
(Similarly for someone who buys btc *above* his own valuation, because he plans to sell them off after the "pump" he created himself.)
I would rather say "Nobody who has USD to invest is willing to pay $250 260$ for 1 BTC". On a high enough level of analysis, the reason doesn't matter. It may be that the guy has never heard of bitcoin. I concede your point about strategic non-buying, on a more detailed scale of analysis. However (as you remarked) that does not contradict the rephrased statement above: the trader who waits for lower prices too thinks that 260$ is too much to pay.

i think what "Stolfi" wants to know is the *real* value of a bitcoin. You know, figure out what it's really worth.
That is easy: bitcoin it is worth its weight in gold.

Samsung Galaxy S6 was released today along with Samsung Pay http://www.cnet.com/news/samsung-pay-takes-on-apple-pay-as-mobile-payments-war-heats-up/"Samsung believes it has an advantage with its system because its system, which it obtained through the purchase of LoopPay last month, allows the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge to work with many more merchants and stores. Samsung Pay will use a near-field communication, or NFC, chip to talk with compatible registers. But it also uses a LoopPay technology called Magnetic Secure Transmission that works by holding the phone near a traditional card swipe reader, essentially making it backward compatible for nearly all payment terminals.. Samsung said it has the potential of being accepted at 30 million merchant locations around the world." OOOOPS! Go, shi... bitcoin! lol

Don´t worry, Bitcoin is never mentioned in big news. Maybe in websites like cryptoasian, coinssource dot com and some pedo related articles. The last line was just sarcasm. A new competitor "Samsung Pay" just hit the market.

"Stolfi's" Rule of Sound Money: if it has no mass, it has no value.
Ageless advice.
The internet is a conglomeration of data, which is energy. The internet has very very little mass but extreme value. Value is transient through tangible (commodity, fiat) and intangible (knowledge, data) means. For example, if I were to sell you the internet for 1B USD would you buy it? It has little mass compared to a pound of Gold, but immensely more value. Based on this I would say the above argument is false.
