As refreshing as it is to read these pages "sans tarmi" -- this relentless rise in price is somewhat troublesome for me. I was hoping to have another chance at sub-250 CAD. Perhaps this post will jinx it all and I might have my wish? "As low as possible for as long as possible" These are the cheap coinz everyone's been screaming about. You've got to board the train now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vo-rF5Wx6s

"As low as possible for as long as possible" 1 month ago the price was higher 2 months ago the price was higher 3 months ago the price was the same Does that make you feel better? 4 months ago I was able to buy at 220 CAD... THAT would make me feel better!

When they get too tired to punch you, you win! Lol. I just put him on ignore. It's so easy! Just a little, tiny click, and he has to register a new account. Must be exhausting for him. But at least, he gets paid for it

I only skimmed through them, yeah. What exactly is your problem with posting that news here?
I don't have problem with you posting ANY kind of news. I do have a problem with personal assumptions of yours though, that are presented as "news". You're constantly doing this lately and it's not sane nor noble. You can actually say "IMHO, ...." before posting it. So; it wasn't about posting the news you posted; what I said was that I have my doubts (rather a certainty) this pump occurred because of the reason you mentioned. (1) 297 $/BTC is not as high as 350 $/BTC at OTCQX, but it is more relevant to this egregious forum, being a quote for real BTC at a real exchange;
Yeah; egregious! WTF serious people like you and me are doing here? Despicable and pathetic! (OK, rub out the "serious" from me) (2) If the comments that I read are correct, that ponzi must be about to collapse, that must be the reason why they required that emergency payment in bitcoin. Then soon there will be thousands of South Africans as angry as hornets whose nest has been busted. Bitcoin will be right in the middle of it.
I wouldn't hold my breath on that. What volume are we talking about? about 20? 50? a 100 per day? If it were more, believe me this would have been able to make a difference globally. To present a perspective, the last $20 pump was caused into BTCe, an exchange that has a daily volume of about 4000-5000...

To present a perspective, the last $20 pump was caused into BTCe, an exchange that has a daily volume of about 4000-5000... I wasn't thinking of the impact of trading those coins, but of the bad press, and possibly bad actions by the SA government. (However, MLM schemes may easily involve millions of people, not just poor by also middle-class, and therefore move a lot of money. And, if the owners of that ponzi run away, at some point they may want to move the BTC that they are collecting in SA to some exchange outside of SA, to cash out and buy gold or something less traceable than BTC. Come to think of it, perhaps those reckless buys at BTC-e last week were those guys buying BTC with the cients' money, as a preparation for the disappearing act...

If they are moving any serious amount of money they would be better off moving through one of the regulated money launderers like Wachovia or HSBC. Much safer that way.

Yeah, Bitcoiners manage to fuck up anything remotely related to money, why would laundering it be any different? Rank amateurs! Will take some time and practice to compete with the pro's... Don't worry, time is on our side, yes it is!
