I bet most of us here want to say that the bear market is over; yes, that included the bears as well. That's because even if you're a bear you definitely want to have your investment at a higher rate than what you've managed to accumulate it. So eventually you secretly wish for the bear market end. Most bears do not own infinite amounts of money; nor IMHO it's sane to obtain HUGE amount of coins. The more you have, the more you matter for the price when/if you decide to sell/collect your fiat profit (or initial investment). Except you're in for the long run (ie: BTC to the moon) so you see; there's no distinction between bears and bulls after all. Profit is what truly matters.

Speculation thread, make a call.
Win and Lose With Dignity and Honor, when you win, you do not brag or gloat about it. When you lose, you accept it with grace. However temporary it may be.
Business as usual will be assumed shortly probably. Ho hum. Every point of view has its day.So does every bear market! Indeed. There must be a generation of newcomers who know of nothing else. It'll be highly unusual/disturbing/arousing for them if it blows up again. I predict that many will become non verbal in shock and live out the rest of their days in a whirlpool of drool and incontinence.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see a small rise up over $240. This is good.
I also see a tiny dip back down toward the $230s again. This is to be expected.
This could go either way.
Coffee please, Mocha-Java, full city roast, one generous handful per cup, 18% cream and pure cane sugar. Mmmm...

It's nice to see them differentiate between bitcoins and Bitcoin, between the vehicle of speculation and the transfer network. GS's investment in Bitcoin is a clear endorsement of the value of the network and as the value of Bitcoin increases, the price of bitcoins will surely follow, albeit much more slowly. Short-term, this news won't make much difference to the price. Long-term it's very bullish.

I think this is a green light for many financial actors. I also think speculators are going to start pricing this event into the price of XBT fairly immediately. And even though their investment isn't purely a buy in into the bitcoin currency I think this talk about "investing in the network", as if it is completely independent of the currency, is just a way of deflecting criticism. GS are dipping their toes into the currency. The transactions will happen on the Bitcoin network with XBT units. This is BIG. This is not another "the blockchain-technology is fascinating but the currency is shit" kind of statement like we've seen in the past. Goldman Sachs has boarded the train. CHOO CHOO MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

^This looks like that episode of Scooby Doo where the gang visits Star Trek and gets caught in a wormhole.
Also: no signs of the troll kings. I guess they feel their services aren't as effective when the price isn't tanking. Seeds of doubt are best sewn in despair. I'm starting to get it now.

My sentiment continues to be slightly bullish.
I think the bottom is in now ($215-20 has been touched several times) and optimism is growing in the forum. Psychology is important, so it could go up into the high 2xx's now.
PS: I see, my price prediction of $230 for May 1 was pretty good.
