Ahhhhh just logged in to see a small pump.
Let's hope it continues, it seems so long that I can't even remember what 300 USD feels like.
Would be nice to get upto 250 by the end of the week.
So many positive things for bitcoin being held up by regulators etc atm.
I think we'll look back on this price after the halving next summer & laugh.

The only way is up now people, the bear market will be over soon.

bear market is over since 152$ imo

This is really a big deal if institutional money was waiting for a regulated Bitcoin exchange in New York. They just opened to US customers today.

http://www.coindesk.com/swedish-digital-currency-exchange-cryex-raises-10-million/

This news is important because it will make it easier to buy bitcoin for the ETN launching on Nasdaq Stockholm in just 11 days. Now, they can buy BTC locally from both Safello and Cryex. No money crossing borders in the process.

Indeed. And, for man-on-the-street traders, FDIC insurance is a pretty massive step forward for a Bitcoin exchange.

Yes, but is only on the USD there, so keep your BTC safe (as much as possible) elsewhere

ItBit avoided the need for a BitLicense by instead applying for a trust company charter, which appears to come with even stricter regulations. It is the first trust company to be created in New York since the financial crisis.

possible but unlikely, IMHO. We still have one more U.S. Marshals auction to go and if we get a major push into overbought conditions, we will be vulnerable to a bear counterattack.  Organic growth takes time and sentiment doesn't change on a dime. There will still be many bargains on the road to recovery.

Ah, a man of leisure. A day on the water is a day well spent. Bulls of 2014 can do it too.

And just maybe this will light a fire under the Winklebot bros to get Gemini operational.

Bitcoin isn't really big on organic growth though.
