Another pump will arrive some day. Until then it'll continue ticking over until They decide to kick off again.

Regarding the LTC ponzi scheme: the question is if this guy will really cash out to RMB anytime soon. Personally I highly doubt it, because Chinese authorities will rip him to pieces, when this thing blows up. If I would be him, I would leave the country as soon as possible.
So that LTC run up and free fall was due to this ponzi or just the fact that they cashed out the LTC ? The run up was very likely caused by the ponzi scheme, because the LTC amount was insane. It is speculated that the LTC was dumped for BTC (IMHO very probable). Now the question is what will happen with the BTC stash this guy 'earned'. In one of the articles posted above they speculate that the BTC are dumped for RMB on the Chinese exchanges. Personally I do not believe that. The guy would be crazy if he would stay in mainland China.

If I could short LTC, I imagine I'd be rich. But I hope it's the other way around and my inability to short it saved me from going broke I tried earlier, LTC gives nothing on the short side right now. Pumpers are in full swing. Too bad I made nothing on this drop lol

This litecoin rise won't break anytime soon. Couple of other interesting btc-e coins will see even bigger gains in the close future. This was all predictable if you knew more then to buy one type of coin and then just sit on your ass, trying to pray for success.
3 hours give or take.

So that bidside stairway seems to have disappeared on Bitfinex. Used to buy at market or simply pulled?

I pondered that and my guess is the former. Probably hoped to buy cheap and when the price started to soar, panic bought.

Although not advisable right now, this is a good strategy long term. Most of the times a surge happened, the first one to rise was LTC with BTC following. So; if you're into trading I'd say it's not a bad idea at all. Be sure though you're trigger happy and do not ask too much from your life. I mean an 8x pump was a no brainer even to the most extreme LTC believer...

Coming to you soon. Litecoin has already lost half of it's value in less than twelve hours.

Yeah it was a pump to get more BTC. That is the coin everyone wants. LTC will make for good trading as it flies around now. Lost a lot of money in the LTC fiasco last night, but made a lot when BTC got pumped. Came out even. Doh.
