He reveals that the host country of the project was supposed to be Honduras, in his reply to one of the first questions.

Well, no. At that point, he is clearly referring to an earlier attempt on the part of his group. The one that fell through when the Honduran Supreme Court overturned the constitutional changes that would have allowed the project to happen therein.  See 7:00 - "when ... interests in Honduras .. rejected the plan, it was a bitter defeat. But Honduras was not the only country we were negotiating with. Queitly we have been working with a different country on a different project"

Given his new position with Epiphyte, and Epiphyte's stated goal, I suppose that negotiations with the "other country" also failed.

They can't influence a price increase/decrease. You need to be a credible news source to do that.

So it's an attack on Dogecoins now?  
I guess this would be a nice idea to get the heat off BTC so it can start a peak leveling at $500 again before all the massacre on the market for the past 2 weeks. Sacrifice the weaker coin so the stronger one will survive!
It's all about who to throw into the media machine to see how long they burn for as a distraction.

It's possible it's fake but possibilities are all we deal with.  I think the possibility to go below 315 is slim.  I believe the 5% difference between what I paid and and 315 doesn't amount to much especially considering it made no difference in the number of shiny btc obtained, just slightly less fiat which I can't hold onto anyway.

I doubt that terrorists have much use for Dogecoin. A cup of coffee costs like 30,000 coins so you can imagine the number of zeros in meaningful transactions. It just means ridiculously clumsy record-keeping and prone to errors of course. 375,000,000 coins for a truck? Nah.

I wonder if some sort of reverse split is possible in these overissued coins. Billions, even over a hundred billion coins seems kind of pointless unless it´s little more than a pump and dump scam to begin with.
