In your analogy between unblocking a toilet and shorts getting flushed the resistance at 385 is the blockage that needs ramming down the toilet with a plunger before the shorts can get flushed. How much ramming do you think it will take to clear the blockage, and how long will it take?

Take a look at 1D and 1W charts with SAR indicators on. We are on a massive pump here. Each incremental increase we will see some bleeding, and some shorters crying in front of their families. Inverse head and shoulders forming at this last short, up up up we go!

Does that mean you think it will take one single giant ram with the plunger to get the toilet unblocked, or furiously ramming it for days before the shorters get flushed down it? There is now resistance at 280 and 285, which equates to two blockages to ram down the toilet.

Are you sure ?

Yes. (in my European country) Used to be average of jan 1st and dec 31, but now it's just Jan 1st.
The tax rules are not clear on time of day, only the date, so I just make a couple of print-screens during that day, and pick the most favourable one as "proof"    I'm still waiting for the tax office to publish "official" exchange rates for jan 1st. That would be cool.
It's only a few euro's in taxes, so I'm playing by the books. 1.2%/year is nothing when talking about bitcoin.
