Hi Elwar,
I saw your post about General Dynamics and DCGS-A.
I feel your pain.
Have you considered work where you're not so tied up to the government insanity that is the military?
One brief moment when I was looking for a job I added private companies to my list. My skillset is wide and not specialized because of how contracts work. They need someone to fill a slot, they'll put you in that slot even if you know it just a little as long as you have a lot of experience and have a degree (and a clearance). So I've been a network engineer, software engineer, system admin, Java/C++/.NET/Ada, etc. A wide range of skills but no specialization in one single skill. While searching for a job in the private sector they tend to look for someone that is very specialized in one skill set, especially at the senior level. I interviewed for several Java positions and one person told me that I was more of a junior level programmer but my salary requirement was senior level. Which was true since I use Java for most positions but I am never a Java developer. Plus the clearance I have, only .001% of Americans have that clearance. Which makes it easy to get a good paying job for any job that requires that clearance. There is certainly no outsourcing of my job to lower paid foreigners. That and my willingness to travel and live anywhere in the world (including war zones) gives me a very good salary. Getting paid $250k-$500k per year is not unheard of for my type of work in war zone environments (working 84 hour work weeks, 365 days a year). That's a lot of bitcoins. I do plan on retiring in a few years, work on something I can just do over the Internet and travel the world. I'll retire a lot sooner if bitcoin goes over $2-3k. Good luck mate!

Good point, Elwar, as I was asking myself, will the COIN ETF ever get approved ? I think yes, but it's not around the corner. What you think ? If no, why ? If yes, will take some time, right ? Thanks buddy

Thanks buddy ETF is bullshit (not bullish). winklewees are ever failing wannabes burning through daddy money. trading paper coins will certainly not lead btc price higher. just look at how gold ETFs are used to lower its price, flooding the market with their monkey gold.

Thanks buddy The fact that they changed to a more friendly stock exchange means they are growing impatient. Also another ETF was filed as well. I would not be surprised if it happened by the end of the year.

Yes and no. Yes in the sense that there may be correlation, and no in the sense that this doesn't imply causation. Bitcoin is a speculative commodity, in the widest possible sense: it exists to be speculated, that's its raison d'etre. News of failing governments, failing economies, failing banks -- pretty much any and all societal failings -- could be, and typically are, used to bootstrap pumps. Hence correlation. This does not mean that the price is driven by world events (as in Greeks buying BTC because Grexit, Brits buying BTC because Brexit, BTC / PKR Bitcoin / Pakistani Rupee 73,399.00 PKR +2,094.00 +2.94% Pakistani rocket ship!!!
...or Pakistani buying BTC because Prexit.

I think I may move to Venezuela.
Then I can watch as the bitcoin price goes TO THE MOON!!!
Then you would need to be very careful down there. It's not easy to live there even (and, maybe, especially) if you are rich. Lots of kidnapping and bad things going on. Mmm, no not a wise move
