There where just like ~1100 coins in that weird moment. But he showed his hand... I don't think they will try to dump again under that price!  Cheesy

Ha! LOL! ... He/it ate another ~800<->900 BTCcoins ... There is a monster lurking in the shadows ready to devour the sacrificial lamb, and hold the skies if they fall...  Cheesy

haha... Chinese barked dump... and he/she/it dumped as well.. Smiley

*Edit: This might be the shortest bear trap I've seen this year... the trolling farmer's organic market keeps it fresh!  Cheesy

*Edit2:  If the People's Republic of China's traders are thirsty on the side waiting new lows, holding fiat for good gambling and feel blood in the water they might eat all that nonsense up very quickly! Jupiter's moons keep feeling closer and closer for the launch date!

the point of bitcoin is not trusting anyone.. ETFs are oxymoronic.

This is limited vision. You are right about point of bitcoin, but wrong about ETFs. They have their own point, necessary for people who want a piece of action, but are limited by their own rule-book. They need someone to guaranty their purchase, they are not allowed to trust BTC exchanges.

Seems that the price is stuck in a sideways movement for a while, with a slight downtrend. We haven't moved much from the 650-700 range for a fairly long time now.

I wonder when or if the halving will actually have an effect, maybe when the exchanges have less coins on them.

It's all gone a bit boring  Shocked

Like I said...move to Venezuela and just watch as the bitcoin price rockets up. With 1600% inflation rate the bitcoin holders there are becoming super rich!

They are also likely starving to death.

But hey...to the moon!!!

This is without a doubt one of the weirdest and most exciting days in crypto history. Shame it's not Bitcoin supplying the weirdness and excitement.

I am glad we were able to let one of the little alts try out a hard fork so we could see what happens. Which is what alts are good for. Testing purposes to learn from for Bitcoin.

Apparently you need 100% of the exchanges and miners on board.

Conclusion: No 2mb hard fork in the foreseeable future for Bitcoin.

I think the only conclusion possible is that Satoshi has gone senile and embittered and HE is the DAO exploiter.

This will be confirmed when he attempts to send his nefarious ETC gains to the Bitcoin genesis block. He will then spam his own address with abuse when he doesn't understand why his lovely genesis block fails to accept ETC directly.

Conclusion: No 2mb hard fork in the foreseeable future for Bitcoin.

Yeah. Unless almost everyone is satisfied and going forward together I think this has killed off any chances of anything contentious ever happening. Bitcoin has far more money, far more grievances, far more mining grunt and far more ideology.

Do you 5think the price is stagnating due to dropping hashrate? It says here https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty the next difficulty adjustment is gonna be -6.77%, is this something to worry about? Does that mean that Bitcoin is going to be 6.77% less valuable?
