vim is one thing. But EDLIN does not buy additional geek cred. Merely pity. And disdain. Pity and disdain. Well, mostly disdain.
lol, well put. Notepad++ is my go-to editor in Windows. I don't know if there's a geekier option, but it serves me well enough. this is the equivalent of normal poeple talking about the weather, but i'll join in. i use vim all the time, because i know all the keystrokes by heart. *geek factor 9000!* LOL just kidding, i use Notepad++ too... i dont know if this relevant but you can check it first https://xkcd.com/378/

My charts tell me the price will bottom at 1984 Yuan, so that's $297.42.
Whether it bounces from there is up to TPTB I guess.
Too bad Adam lost his whale status.
Things were a lot more fun back then.
Those are dumb-ass charts if they are telling you sub $300.... sounds like real pie in the sky. We gotta get through several support points to being even close to striking distance of even sub $500, and you are suggesting sub $300... ---yeah right. Can we snap back to the real world, just for a moment? Jay... Don't bother with him... 300$ or even 500$ would not happen even if nukes would fly from every hemisphere and have 50 years of radiation fallout...It is just a technical impossibility ... We will see 670$ - 695$ very soon ... And then we will just go uphill ... I don't even bother to trade till we get to 900+ ... and we will probably do a ping-pong sideways for like half a year between 1200$ <-> 2500$.

What now Bitcoin fanatics? There where lots of posts last month that the BTC price will skyrocket to $1000 or even $2000. tsk tsk tsk.. I feel bad for those who took out a loan just to buy bitcoin prior to the halving thinking that the price will skyrocket afterwards.

The toppling of the wall began with a single brick. Like that will work in the long term... All good walls must come to an end and go down! *Edit: Btw... I think that silly guy in the picture will go down in history, in the history books or in the bible, with that quote ... "We need to build a Wall!!!" ... And children in schools will be like: "WTF?? "

Venezuela LocalBitcoins trading volume graph.
The 1600% inflation forecasted by the IMF for 2017 surely helps. What about the other mentioned countries, same issue?

Venezuela LocalBitcoins trading volume graph.
The 1600% inflation forecasted by the IMF for 2017 surely helps. What about the other mentioned countries, same issue? So, one might pose this question: why is bitcoin so hot in Malaysia? For starters, the ringgit has been on a losing streak since the US authorities announced a major money laundering and embezzlement investigation into state-owned 1Malaysia Development Bhd, which allegedly laundered about $1 billion of the misappropriated funds through banks in the U.S. The Malaysian ringgit dropped about 2.7% last week - the biggest drop since September - due to the negative press surrounding the international investigation, TheMalayOnline reports. Low oil prices are also having a negative impact on the outlook of the Malaysian economy and currency, as Malaysia is Asia’s only major net oil exporting nation. http://razorsforex.blogspot.com/2016/07/bitcoin-trading-spikes-in-malaysia-as.htmlRussia probably has to do with them not making it illegal to buy bitcoins in Russia. Not sure about Kenya...that looks like it's just finally starting to become known there.

Bitcoin ETF approval within 5 months. A new exchange traded fund designed to track the price of Bitcoin may be on its way to market. New paperwork has been filed with the SEC for the new ETF, titled Solid Bitcoin Trust, according to reports from ETF.com.
SolidX Partners Inc. says the Bitcoin within the ETF will be insured in case of theft, destruction or computer fraud, with the Bank of New York Mellon acting as custodian.
The new fund requires a rule change filing with SEC by the carrying exchange, due to Bitcoin’s status as a new asset type. The fund will kick off with an initial offering value at around $1 million.
Approval is pending based on the approval of the rule change filing; a precedent has since been set by the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF, which the infamous brothers filed for on June 30. It’s anticipated that fund will receive approval by the end of 2016, with the SolidX ETF receiving approval by early 2017. http://www.wealthprofessional.ca/news/etfs/new-bitcoin-etf-on-its-way-to-market-211198.aspx

Then again by 2015? Now by the end of 2016? I keep hearing the same thing every year... what's different this time? Also, didn't the Winklevoss release their ETF called Gemini? Or is that just an exchange? I'm so confused because I've been hearing about the same ETF for the last 2 years and nothing changes

Good mornin' Bitcoinland. I feel like a broken (vinyl) record... blah, blah, still sideways, blah, blah... Better than going down, I suppose. The longer we have to wait, the bigger the next leg up will be.
