Looks like we may have a little bit of a battle on Stamp to get passed $780 - but I am getting the sense that there is enough buyer support to get passed that resistance (hopefully)... bringing the battle for $800 to be in our soon to be midst.. and even doable... (more than 1000 coins to get there, though.. maybe I can go back to sleep to make up for the lost sleep in watching the most recent actions?  )  )

Missed a couple of days due to weekend partying but I see the battle for $780 still rages on... currently $784USD/$1029CAD at Bitcoinaverage.

Tough nut to crack but it feels to me like this might be the time. I won't feel like it's a done deal until we reach $820.

I think the power is out. Im awaiting a big dump close to xmas.

I'm waiting for such a dump to buy some cheap coins but day after day and only 2 weeks till Christmas I'm losing confidence. If there is such a dump it will be pretty anemic.

Don't be too jealous. It's largely due to the Canadian dollar tanking.

It does however underscore the value of Bitcoin as a safe haven. When I bought my first coins, the US and Canadian dollars were at par.

Since then I not only profited (on paper) from what my bitcoins increased in value, but also from not keeping my money in loonies.

That said, being in 4 digits has a nice feel to it, and a nice sound to it when people ask about the price. It shuts up the cynics who were crowing "I told you so", calling Bitcoin a scam and predicting its failure during the fall from the ATH.

Good times indeed.

It won't be too long until we're over $1000, definifely in 2017 any way, I think that is without question. We don't want unsustainable pumps though, nice & steady is the way.
