We're doing a guessing game? I like it.

How about: make a guess for the poster you're responding to, who in turn makes a guess about you.

(pointless, I know, but fun Cheesy)

so you like profiling ppl from what they wrote hmmm interesting... Wink

Wee, I wanna play. 200 BTC.

You registered this account when price was between $50 and $100. Judging by your first posts however, I get the feeling that's either not your first account on here, or you've been exposed to Bitcoin before registering. If that's the case, all bets are off, depending on whether you seized the very early opportunity or not (no shame if it's the latter -- I'm just mentioning the possibilities).

Because of that uncertainty, to stay within semi-acceptable (to me Cheesy) confidence, I'll have to give a pretty wide range. Say: More than 100, less than 5000.

(edit) Your estimate is a bit off, but less than an OOM, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To continue the euphoric sensations we are enjoying, Segwit is approaching 35% of all the Bitcoin nodes.

Please show source.

I am seeing only ~22% signaling.

i think segwit signalling is a different process. that's just running the latest node.

Indeed.
In order to get the 95% blocks during a 2016 block period, the miners that are signaling will have to be lucky enough to find 95% of the blocks to activate SegWit.

I am aware that the nodes running it could be above 35% currently but if they are not mining nodes then it is a misconception to a true count.

things are moving a little. bitstamp is now lower than btc-e which don't happen very often. that might be a sign of further action.

this IRS thing has got some folks spooked ... best to be out of fiat on exchanges before it gets really nasty, for the shorts that is ... and anybody holding fiat on exchanges could get 'bailed in', right back in to their fiat masters church, so to speak.

imagine if all your undeclared profits were from shorting bitcoin for 3 years and held in fiat at a bitcoin exchange that just got a federal court summons from IRS ... wouldn't that suck worse than your shorts blowing up in your face?!

A fiat meister's hell on earth.

Top, double top, triple top, quadruple top... perhaps the realization will come that this may not be a top at all...

Hopefully fireworks this weekend...got my popcorn ready  Grin

Haha, and I hope they are bear fireworks, this sustained price level has left my Alt to BTC balance a little too skewed towards Alts.

Sucks to be you, then...

Does not seems to be a good thing to be too skewed towards alts, especially in times like these.

Who trades on coinbase? Especially in 2014? I'm guessing those number are marginal at best. And market is showing how much it cares for it right now
