This is crazy guys, this rise is parabolic. Don't you think it need to come back down and floor out.
Like how high can it possibly go before crashing? I think its now so I sold all my btc besides a few for investing with and I'll buyback in at $800 in a month from now.

Cheesy

Unless, of course, we never see $800 again  Shocked

That's very possible too but I think its likely to happen. What's your take?

Your position is possible, Sourgummies, but the reality of the matter is that we are going up with a lot of upward price pressures and it is really not yet over inflated... not yet anyhow.... Therefore, chances are not very good for your position.. even though there is a slim possibility it could work out in your favor.

Looks like the FT article is behind a paywall and they don't seem to take bitcoin.

*yawn*

To get past the FT paywall, you can google "bitcoin site:ft.com". Clinking on the returned links bypasses the paywall. Works for WSJ and others as well.

I checked the ft paywall and they don't accept Bitcoin as payment. They only take credit card, paypal, or direct debit. Someone should tell them to accept Bitcoin.

Parabolic is historically normal for bitcoin. I personally think we are still in a warm up stage, but who knows, right?

Yeah, still warm-up imo. As long as we have no other hacked exchange or some regulation fuck-up we are good to go.

we'll find a local top at like 1337 or maybe as high as 3000 sorta "stabilize" there for couple months

@Sourgummies  Bhjahahahahahaha

So cup 'n handle breakout brings the $9800 prediction into play now right?
9800 is the final destination of 3rd wave. c&h target is nearly starting point. It'll be a long trip.

I posted elsewhere that these articles were linked:

These articles drive me nuts - they are manifestly hit pieces. Yes, at $16B, Bitcoin total value pales against broad money of the globe. What these news articles lie about by omission is that the same CIA list they are using for the global broad money figures puts a $16B broad money value as slightly above half of all central-bank currencies in money supply - #95.5 out of 193 (or 194 including this Bitcoin interloper).

(BTW, it is currently $16,860M - or #93.5 in rank)

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2215rank.html

When do they flip from worried enough to spout disinfo to outright panicked? When we hit #67 in rank? Larger than 2/3 of central bank currencies?

The FOMO train may soon depart in earnest, all aboard seats are limited but there is plenty of room left in coach class.

How is this thread still doing?

I haven't posted on here for years I think.

Figured I'd stop by and give a symbolic hello as we head towards ATHs.

Bitcoin is dead. Long live bitcoin.

Check again when price is over $3000.  The 'rally' hasn't yet begun.

windjc this thread pretty much collapsed when Adam got the boot.  Funny to see you here first time I check it in many many months  Cheesy

BTCC ATH is 7588.  Currently sitting on 7588. At the rate we are going, BTCC will break that today. It is going to make me very nervous to start breaking ATHs.

Edit:  OKCoin just spiked to 7586
