December 19th bitcoin was worth $790 and everyone was happy.
Now everyone is sad but we are still at a great price and we did see a new all-time high.

between january and feb 2016. i was holding a considerable amount of bitcoins. over 3 digits.. i panicked when the price crashed from 540 to 325.. i honestly dont remember the date (if really needed, ill check in my wallet, just ask).. in those panic moments (5-12days) i sold 1000 btc.. after a few slow months. btc rally in june or july ( i was in thailand at that time) i remember sitting by the pool at 6am, facepalmed myself and said.. i will hold the remaining bitcoins i have (still over 3 digits currently) until either i die, btc dies.. or btc reach $10,000 a piece... i intend to keep that promise. the ups and downs its part of the game. thats why we say its a roller coaster ride.. we have seen way too many times how 100 drops to 25 and the minute you turn your head away, its 200 now...

the situation may seem to be different this time. but its not. true it was dropping more or less $50 - $200 and this time we are at $400 drop.. but thats volume.

i bought my coins way below. i am still over 500% profitable. but its not the money that matters..

give it 3 months maximum.. and the one who sells this dip is going to bite their nails, sell their arse, to buy back higher a 100 days from here.

HODL

This guy knows ^

I have bought 180 bitcoins at $300 and holding ever since. You probably have a lot more but I think we have pretty much the same strategy. And no I'm not a hack target, I keep my investment offline.

Cheers mate you did great! I advised friends to do the same but they only got interested and started asking questions recently because of these higher prices.

the reason i am not touching my coins, even if btc dies. is because i hold a number of "shares" out of 21million "shares" that will ever exist.. this movement. the crypto currency movement. the decentralization of money. THIS is what is important.

and if everyone who has bitcoins just follow this lead.. at one point since there will be no coins being traded, the price will have to rise way up due to demand... whichever way the graph goes. sit back and be proud you were part of it

Funny thing is that I have been selling all the way up from lower $600s, and sure I made some buy backs during that time, but the reality of the matter was that the fiat just kept stacking up more and more and more... and I kept thinking that I had way too much fiat stacking up, and the fiat was not put to work.. because the BTC kept appreciating in value.

Now that the price is dropping, I wished I had more fiat... I am now feeling like I am running out of fiat (or at least I have to be careful not to buy too much, just in case it drops more).. as compared with a few days ago when I felt like I had way too much fiat in my various bitcoin related accounts.
